Very easy to use and so much useful

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel makes it very easy and quick to analyse all of my product data in depth. It's my first port of call for making the right decisions and forming the right hypotheses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot of things ! Maybe the choice of colors can be improved because it can be misleading between 2 insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main advantage of Mixpanel is the speed of the analyses we can perform, allowing us to form opinions very quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
Context: I'm an in-house product designer that uses Mixpanel for work.

What I like best:

- The product is well-designed/has appealing UI, which increases my willingness to use it
- I like the way the main report types are broken down (insights, funnels, flow reports, retention reports), this is intuitive
- Building my own dashboard is intuitive, I like that I can tweak the layout and include descriptions
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike:

- Mixpanel was my first analytics tool that I used, and for my use case (answering specific UX questions, not only looking at generic metrics) I would've needed extensive walk-throughs/tutorials to learn my way around the product. I found this lacking from official support (at the time I was looking into this, about a year ago), also had a hard time finding anything from 3rd-party resources. In the end I bridged the gap via ChatGPT but that was less than ideal and would've preferred following a curriculum or similar created by/for Mixpanel
- Related to the above, I find expert features completely inaccessible to a beginner (eg setting up a cohort), there are minimal explanations in-product
- I work for an established product that's been relying on various tracking setups for years, as a result we have many events set up and not all of them are live. We have a separate Notion documentation to keep track of what is what but this is often out-of-date. I wish there was an easier way to access this info inside Mixpanel (which events/attributes do what, which are live etc)
- I recently tried the replays feature but unfortunately it didn't work as expected with our mobile app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I monitor the user behavior on existing features and spot opportunities for improvements/new features.

Great analytics tool for commercial decision making

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel has greatly helped us to optimize the commercial performance of our apps. Mixpanel has democratized data in our teams. Through self-service dashboarding we are able to control our full-funnel performance on a hourly basis. Next to that, it allowed us to bring experimenation and testing to another level, through deeper understanding of our user behaviors between test groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, not much. It's the strongest analytics tool I know.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User analytics and commercial analytics. One-stop-shop for all user insight related questions we have.

Can become even more easy to use by decluttering the home screen, and using industry standard terminologies for features.

Complicated cohort analytics, ad-hoc requirements for strategic business decisions and live sports analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, after the overhaul it makes it better and simpler to use. To get the right information instantly just massively helps in my role in Customer Support.

I haven't been across anything yet that I dislike but if I will surely I would point it out

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel makes it incredibly easy to dive deep into user behavior without needing a data science degree. The event-based tracking is powerful yet intuitive, and the way you can slice data into cohorts, funnels, and retention curves is unmatched. I especially love how quickly I can answer product questions like “Where are users dropping off in onboarding?” or “Which features keep people coming back?” without waiting on engineering. The dashboards are interactive and beautiful, making it simple to share insights with stakeholders and align teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be a bit steep for first-time users—especially setting up clean event tracking. You need to invest in a solid taxonomy upfront; otherwise, reports can get messy. The pricing also scales up quickly as your data grows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Mixpanel to understand user journeys, measure retention, and optimize product flows. It’s helped us reduce churn, improve activation rates, and align product + growth teams around real user data instead of assumptions.

Results:
Since adopting Mixpanel, our time-to-insight has dropped dramatically—we can test hypotheses and see results in hours, not weeks. It’s become our single source of truth for product decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
We appreciate Mixpanel's intuitive UI. Because of it we're able to easily build relevant dashboards regarding our experiements and projects. It's become the goto tool for analysis and monitoring over things like grafana where we write queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
At Uber, we have to add mapping so our native events are ingested correctly into Mixpanel. This adds an additional step in our pipeline that we have to teach every new engineer. If mixpanel more integrated more "natively" into our stack or if we were able to abstract this layer I think folks on different teams would be much open to using it for their projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel’s been super helpful for understanding how people actually use our product. I like that it tracks events instead of just page views, so we can see things like feature adoption and where users drop off in a funnel. The dashboards are clean, and once you get the hang of it, slicing data into cohorts is really handy.

Integrate Data Warehouse pricing and how to implement it. The platform is less flexible with graph creation.
