What do you like best about the product?
Visibility into my customers and behavioral data around products and features that may need to be enhanced or retired etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Experienced bugs while using segmentation and export features pretty regularly.

Usage analysis for our platform - measuring value and adoption for customers
Pathetic Platform and customer service
What do you like best about the product?
I can't say that I like something in the tool, its as good as not having it. Rather, its counter productive to have it, you'll lose dollars if you have this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not phone support at all, and only email support available. Imagine you have a critical business issues related to the tool that need immediate attention, you will have to wait for 24-48 hours before you get a response. Now instead of this platform being supportive to help you succeed in marketing, rather its counter productive. Its costing in losing money on potential buyers that we can't touch because of no support from the platform itself. In my opinion, never opt mixpanel
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Continue marketing on app where we can marketing any type of customer base we have. But platform doesn't have ability to handle complex segment criteria. You can only target users based on some generic usage base filters, it can't not handle complex filters at all in segmentation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to run your marketing on a scaleable model, mixpanel is not the tool you should pic. Its good for very basic usage where you have a small user base and you only send them notifications about any updates you have. Its not a tool you can rely for app marketing, its simply pathetic
My expirience with Mixpanel
What do you like best about the product?
The platform allows to track all activity that is happening on our website. It is especially helpful for funnel tracking as I can see on what stage of their the sign up process the particular group of users are and adjust our user acquisition strategy. A/B testing is also good, I'd say it's even better than in Google Analitycs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mixpanel is a great tool, but it still has some cons. Reports are very quick to get, but they are not visual enough and sometimes there are some missing or incorrect data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Website analytics, A/B testing, users behavior tracking, improving sales funnel, getting insights on how to improve our website and landing pages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mixpanel is a pretty powerful tool, but it is better to use as an addition to Google Analytics, as GA has more accurate data and clear reports.
Not perfect but efficient and effective
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel can be useful almost off the bat as it gives you a snippet of javascript and a simple tracking line to add to start seeing data. With this data, you may be able to start making informed decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, manually adding events can become cumbersome. Mixpanel now has a new mode that allows you to set up events through a GUI that overlays your site but does not populate data in all modes(such as Live mode).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Mixpanel as an analytical tool. The use was mostly checking the attribution of incoming web traffic. Knowing where traffic was coming from and how they interacted with the site allowed to put the effort in effective areas.

What do you like best about the product?
This took got all the information I need. It also triggers events of the apps and it's the best!
What do you dislike about the product?
The colour of the app maybe. It's a little confusing sometimes.

The data collection scheme and the user interface is not thought out. Very often I can't correlate the important data that I really need. (But the product is getting better - slowly)

Understanding bottlenecks and performance problems in our system are much easier with Mixpanel.

Definite learning curve, but easy to extract and slice insights and data
What do you like best about the product?
I like the many variations in specificity you can use to drill down into your data and extract the information you're looking for. Parameters are very modular, visualizations are clean, and the interface is easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding requires a substantial amount of time and much of it is done via webinars and screencasts. A more seamless in-platform solution would be easier for new users to get through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to track exact feature usage, the effectiveness of conversion funnels, and user attributes like screen size. Tons of benefits, especially for prioritizing new features and seeing which features are most heavily or most lightly used.

They should have an easier integration with Segment or should have their own cookies for tracking user behavior!

Give it a try and see if it works in terms of pricing and usage! There are of course dozens of options in the market!
Good but not user friendly

The flexibility that Mixpanel's API provides is amazing! Can't get that anywhere else.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is extremely confusing! They seem to use their own lingo that I can't grasp and can't figure out how to create my own dashboards or reports that I want.

Using it to track product usage.
