Mixpanel has helped me level up my career
What do you like best about the product?
As a product manager, Mixpanel helped me dive deep into users' problems, enabling me to create features and products that impacted people's lives.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found Mixpanel to be less useful when analyzing pre-signup or login data, as it often has some issues in this area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel helps us identify customer drop-offs in various user journeys, which, as a product manager, provides me with a plethora of user problems to work on.
A Game-Changer for Product Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Mixpanel's focus on providing deep insights into user behavior and engagement. The platform’s analytics are very intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to track key metrics, visualize trends, and understand user flows without extensive technical knowledge. Its event-based tracking system is particularly helpful in pinpointing where users might be dropping off or where they’re most engaged. The ability to create custom funnels and cohort analyses allows us to dig into specific user segments and make data-driven decisions with ease. Overall, Mixpanel is a powerful tool for anyone looking to improve product performance through actionable insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides of Mixpanel is that it can be challenging to integrate with other platforms in our tech stack. While Mixpanel’s analytics capabilities are strong, creating a seamless data flow between Mixpanel and other tools often requires technical expertise and can be a bit cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Mixpanel primarily for product analytics, including tracking user interactions, monitoring retention rates, and understanding user engagement with specific features. It's instrumental in helping us identify user behavior patterns, optimize the user journey, and measure the impact of new features or product updates. Additionally, Mixpanel’s cohort analysis helps us understand retention trends and identify specific groups of users to target for re-engagement efforts.
Could be useful, but too hard to tell..
What do you like best about the product?
It was quite easy to open an account and get SOME data in there.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support is non existant, same from sales - added several requests to meet or get support but heard back nothing. There also needs to be no way to create reports based on company data, everything is based on the user which essentialy makes the product useless for our busniess. It doesn't make sense that this would be the case, so most likely I just dont know how to find it. But due to the lack of support, I guess I'll never know.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the moment it's causing more problems that it solves.
One of the most intuitive and versatile analytics software ever?
What do you like best about the product?
Its super easy to understand , super easy to use . setting it up was easy . and has a ton of options to analyse with. i used it everyday and UI is just too good .
What do you dislike about the product?
Having one feature could have been better and that is a live data feed or visual labelling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting the right data to make right decisions quickly
MIxpanel - Great tool for understanding user journey
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive, easy to use and powerful features. In my role I use mixpanel very frequently. I have also reached out to the customer support and have had very meaningful exchanges.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the mixpanel documentation can be a bit lacking. Further, I would love some more statistical models implemented directly in mixpanel when analyzing A/B test for example.
Moreover, the group analytics -- whilst being really good overall -- is lacking some features (experiment application, lookup tables, etc.) which hinder my workflow somewhat.
I'd also like the ability to multi-select boards for deletion in the sidenav on the left.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel is giving me tools to understand the user journey and investigate user behaviour in a clear and consice way.
Complex product analytics tasks are easy and faster than ever
What do you like best about the product?
I like the possibility to deep dive into several product analysis in real time. The software process all the hard queries and let you focus on the most important part. You can try different perspective on all the analysis, try without any fear for errors or need to ask tech expert for hard coded query.
I like the possibility to have super fast funnel analysis filtering step or keeping some constant property along the journey.
It is also really useful fot cohort analysis, both as time-based cohort with churn rate analysis and also for behaviour-based cohort.
The power of the analysis is incrdibile and the easy of use make it the best tool for a Product Manger or Product Analyst.
It is also well integrated with other data sources, i am experimenting the Warehouse connectors with Big query and Snowflake and they are working really well and allow to increase Mixpanel potential.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the downside is the traking setup as there is the need for tech expert to set up the traking in the correct way in the source code. I feel not autonomus as a PM in traking new events or modify existing ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can understand better my users behaviour, find out were my products create more value and where it is not performing well.
Furthermore quantitive data on usage open up a lot of qualitative understanding of the users and make possible to define new feature that may be interesting for their activity.

cool analytics software
What do you like best about the product?
helped in analyzing user's activities and logs
What do you dislike about the product?
if it has the option for real-time logs that will be great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mix panel used to understand the recent activities of the users in our App. In case of any logs are missing or issue with logs able to assist them with this analytics
Truly Amazing and all worthy experience
What do you like best about the product?
The filters and the color schema which makes it easier to use and visualise data, I use it almost daily, and its having great customer support faced some issue and was resolved quickly and the implementation and integration is too easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such, but it can be made more intutive at places.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I got to the know the ad placeholder issue post an update as ad impression and revenue went down.
Mixpanel is your user behavior inspector.
What do you like best about the product?
It allows you to analyze your user behavior without any limitations. Plus, it is super easy to start doing analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little downside is that it is mainly advertised to be used in the front end, but you might be blocked by some web services that will hide the user's actions. It is much more reliable if you set it up in the backend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is our only solution to track specific actions from our platform users.
Our product team is often limited by quantitative questions that are hard to answer. And the only product we find to answer those is mixpanel.

The more we use it the happier I am with it
What do you like best about the product?
For product managers, it's a powerful tool and is easy to use with even a little analytics experience. One year in - it already become a key tool for the product team.
Customer Support at Mixpanel is wonderful, especially as a power user.

What do you dislike about the product?
Our experience of implementation is that you need to give it time.
Each project is different. Ours, we understood, was more complicated than most. We had iterations of understanding how to set up the project in a way that would count the users correctly. Also, like other tools, there's an issue of "waiting for the data". Let's say there's a new event we need to add, a new property, or something was developed incorrectly. Now, to get the data, we wait for a release cycle and a couple of weeks to collect data before we can start analyzing.
