Easy to pick up, user friendly for not-so-code-savvy people
What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive interface makes it so easy to learn and pleasing to look at. I appreciate that even the most tech-adverse in our company can build their own dashboards for any metrics they need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing bad I can say I dislike about MIxpanel. Perhaps something to be improved is allowing reports to be grouped in Folders. We end up with so many after awhile it's hard to keep track of
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us understand how users are interacting with our product, which pages can be improved, where the pain points are, and so much more. Most of all it makes it possible for all members of our team to view any metrics they want.

While Mixpanel offers robust capabilities such as custom event properties, leveraging them effectively may require a learning curve. The documentation and guidance provided by Mixpanel could be more comprehensive, making it less intuitive for users to harness the full potential of these advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel excels in transforming complex data into meaningful reports that effectively communicate insights to senior business leaders. Its customisable dashboards, comprehensive visualisations, and simplified data presentation enable executives to quickly grasp key metrics and make informed strategic decisions based on the data-driven insights provided.
Great experience, for beginner to expert
What do you like best about the product?
The layout is great and the granularity of analysis options are second to none in my experience. Even for someone with no data science / analytics experience, it is easy enough to get started and analyze your product to enable productive changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the experience on mobile. I wish the site was optimized for mobile, or better yet, that a mobilr app was available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking user behaviour and app performance, allowing me to find flaws in UX and implementation.

data collection is reliable and covers all that we need, based on our needs. we can also edit, change and adjust events and properties on the code level but also with Mixpanel UI, meaning the Mixpanel environment grows and develops side by side with our product.

1. unknown unknown - hard to examine flow of events to understand users behavior. it's easier to analyze conversion rates of pre-defined events
2. it's tough for us to understand when users get value from our platform - what event is a monovalent sign of success
3. measuring time spent
4. ad blockers interfering with data collection
5. integration with Salesforce/Google sheet
6. onboarding new people in the company - very hard to make people use, and generally understand how to use independently (it requires understanding Mixpanel UI, but also understanding the way our events are called and tracked). .

- The simplicity and intuitive user interface that allows it to be used by non-tech/analytics-oriented persons

- More advanced reports look good on paper but are usually useless in a complex product environment, referring specifically to 'Flows' and prediction reports

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel solves the need to get basic analytics accessible for everyone in the company, regardless of their background - this allows our small team of analysts to focus on more complex issues

It's easy to use, super powerful, and gives me insight into how users interact with our platform. As a founder, this is the dream.
What do you dislike about the product?
Absolutely nothing. It works like a dream. If I can't figure something out--rare--I contact Mixpanel and they help me out. I legitimately want to hire these folks.

We need to see how users are using our platform. Our platform is a collaborative B2C SaaS, so this involves users + groups. Mixpanel gives us insane visibility.

It is easy to use for non-tech people, to create boards. The company also offers a lot of contents to learn about product analysis

The dependency to the tech team to add and mantain the track in the code

It gives me the KPIs numbers easily and give me the chance to understand all the user behavior on my product

It gives app event-based and user-level analytics to better understand and evaluate the impact of our product.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were not able to find a direct way to understand how much time a user spent on our app per session.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel has helped us monitor our Product Analytics to evaluate our impact. It has easy tools to calculate MAU, DAU, retention rate, etc. and showcase such key metrics to the investors and stakeholders.
I've used Mixpanel on a daily basis for 3 years. I just works.
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel provides the tools to answer almost any queastion about our userbase and product adoption.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would add the abiluity to change the timeline to 'in the next X days since' event type.

Amost any question we have about a particular app fieature or a group of users could be asnwered with Mixpanel.
