Really insightful dashboard!
What do you like best about the product?
The design is really clear. I was a bit lost at the beginning but they have a certificate that helps you understand and learn the platform. I haven't used many other competitors, but I think Mixpanel is really user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
In general, everything works well. When I started using it, it was not really easy to understand what we needed to do and how it was working. I hope the certification would have been better announced since they one. I also would like to have the option to download a whole dashboard, and not have to go insight by insight. I think the component of sharing the dashboards needs to improve a better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to track information about how shoppers use our Shopify App and share it with our clients. It's AB testing to see what insights clients are more interested about.

What do you like best about the product?
It was so easy to implement it and see results immediately

The location of the events is not correct for some of the events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are capable to analyse traffic in mobile app as quick as newer before. Mixpanel is making things obvious.

Steep learning curve to get familiar with the functions and the navigation process.

Through data, it enables us to make judgments quickly, measure what matters, and produce superior products.

Easy to setup one time and then use it for a long time

sometimes identity layer can be a pain to setup
sometimes it is easy to miss an important metric not getting tracked due to client side adblocker setup

What do you like best about the product?
I love the speed of building different types of reports and grouping them on the dashboards. I like that I see the data almost in realtime, no need to wait. Filters are easy to use it and I pivot data a lot
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have more data on statistical significance because I use Mixpanel to analyze AB test results. I struggle BIG TIME with colors in dashboards, there's no easy way to revert colors or set up custom colors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel helps structure a huge amount of data and facilitates data-driven decision-making. I don't need data analyst to build reports and make sense of them, it saves a lot of time.
Easy to create beautiful analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use to connect external API's like Segment. The ability to create multiple dashboards. The beautiful design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mixpanel offers a lot of graphs. It is not always clear to me when to choose one graph over another. Guidance, advice, or sharing best practices would be very valuable here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal business metrics of how our SaaS product is used. Share reporting with the team internally, without the need to build complicated graphs ourselves. We are a pretty small IT-team.

I love that with Mixpanel you are able to observe each user's behavior. You can identify the user, and check what pages he has visited, and also his activity.

Can't tell anything. It took me a bit of time to learn the tool, but it's definitely worth it. :)

Mixpanel: A deeper dive into product analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel enables us to track a lot of events on our app, and consequently develop and measure important metrics based on these events. This has given us a deeper level of insight into how users interacted with the products that we never used to have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mixpanel requires some technical know-how to implement. For less technical teams or users, this can pose a challenge to utilizing mixpanel to its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel allows us to track events as user actions on our app. In tracking these events, we can measure key metrics around product engagement, activation, retention, growth and so on. By doing this, Mixpanel helps us ensure that we're actively monitoring metrics that matter, and working to improve them.

What do you like best about the product?
Incredible interface with reliable data. Mixpanel helps me provide value for the company, even if I'm not a data analyst! I love the ease of creating cohorts. I can go anywhere with the available options, which means I can analyse and segment in a comprehensive way, enabling me to add a lot of value to my company and my peers!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see more AI and ML features to support my analysis. Also, a learning approach would be fantastic to have, as I'm not a data analyst, even though I'm able to use it in a relevant way
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Mixpanel to create specific cohorts so I can send messages to the app's user when it matters the most with content that is relevant to them. It helps me to understand the context deeply.
