User interface is lacking the customization
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface and the real time tracking of the events are great , Gives the whole structure of the things like { user, event and data sended by the project} . It is easy to use for me and my team
What do you dislike about the product?
lack of customization in the user interface and sometimes my events get delayed which sucks , and they should add more fillters to it for better sorting of the data analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps the track of the all events of our project , it's really nice for that . We can get the all structured data from the one place from all across the platforms which is really nice for my project.

It's really powerful and easy to use. Even no professional data analysts can use it at full power

The mobile app is not as powerful as the web browser version

Advanced and super precise analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel offers the most detailed analytics and dashboards. Additionally, it gives us the ability to drill down into the user's activity of app events which is insightful and helps us identify issues with the workflow and provides ideas on how to improve the UX. We can make custom dashboards on Mixpanel and refer to them daily to monitor the performance of metrics which are most critical for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without passing the correct user attributes and having perfect event instrumentation in place, there is not much we can do with MixPanel, therefore it still has a very high dependency on the data analytics team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using Mixpanel for more than two years now and with this, data makes so much more sense and we always get actionable inputs from the intuitive dashboards. Mixpanel also helps in establishing the efficacy of various Marketing Campaigns so that we allocate our marketing budgets more intelligently. They have also improved a lot on their UX and with the new fixes, we can see the whole dashboard on a single screen and do not need to do multiple scrolls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend having Mixpanel in your analytics stack, it makes understanding user journeys so easy and the product analytics help us a lot in improving on various aspects of the product and hence delivering value to our users.
An excellent product analytics tool for any company
What do you like best about the product?
It's very user-friendly and easy to get up and running. There is also great functionality like 'flows' that is incredibly helpful and missing from other softwares like Amplitude.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I particularly dislike, it's a very powerful tool so it can be a little overwhelming at times but once you use it more and more it gets more familiar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me understand how users use our software and how to make certain decisions based on that usage of our product when it comes to making changes or adding in functionality.

Its waaaay better than Amplitude and I have used both extensively.

What do you like best about the product?
A very intuitive platform, with an option to create a custom dashboard makes the experience even better, simple user interface makes it very easy to use for all the departments in the organization ranging from tech to operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature needs to be improved, sometimes it gets very frustrating to find a user because the search engine is not properly designed and the users list can be improved as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have integrated Mixpanel with our mobile application and use the data provided to improve our onboarding flow and make other changes in the UI, multiple dashboards help us to know what screens/designs are working and what screens need improvement to increase the overall user experience and improve the metrics

Creating events for the analytics is the first and most important step.

Mixpanel is user-friendly, with clear graphics and building tools. For people who are not data inclined, MixPanel highlights data in a very readable way, with clear charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to name something I dislike about Mixpanel (which is a hard task), I would like more data visualization variety.

We use Mixpanel to tell clear data visualization narratives internally. The way the data is compiled and illustrated makes it easy for everyone to read and interpret.

What do you like best about the product?
Think about making a graph, driving an insight into your product funnels, multiple ways of looking into the data, and understanding the behavior of varied types of cohorts. The tool has unbelievable capabilities with respect to the data & analytical representation of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest problem of the tool is enabling the right attribution for the Top of the funnel events or traffic. It significantly fails there and the support to solve that piece is very limited. There is no single custom event where we can have all the channel of traffic auto tracked just like the Default Channel Grouping in GA.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to go deeper into the problem points within the product and analytical the solve 5Whys? of problem solutioning. The best part is the running mutiple events and comparing all of them at the same benchmarks.

I don't see anything about dislike as off now

Mispanel has some very visible strength thier reports load instaneously you can get great oob reprorts and thier mobile SDK

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is extremely powerful. It allows you to get a quick overview around how exactly your product is being used. You dont have to work alot to get all that information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand that team mixpanle is aways trying to improve the product, but for me its a bit too much that every other day you have to relearn the product.
