Mixpanel - amazing tool for analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Definitely the visualizations - you can take the same data and visualize it in various ways very easily. When the visualization fits the data, extracting insights becomes much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't find a way to automatically exclude test users from my reports, so every time I manually cross off specific email domains and test environment URLs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product analytics. It benefits me greatly by allowing me to gain insights from my app's usage data.
Creating insights along all my customer journey
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboard visualization. I can view all the events through my customer onboarding and understand how to improve my processes. Moreover, it's easy to integrate with my CRM , allowing me to send other events from HubSpot to Mixpanel and improving the customer journey from all touchpoints.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any points that I dislike yet.

Effective and Efficient Analytics solution
What do you like best about the product?
I think the best part is the graphs and visualization that MixPanel offers. The graphs and dashboards can be saved and even the links can be shared across functions to ensure that another team is viewing the same data as you. With MixPanel it is easy to view campaign-level conversion funnels, retention and other important metrics, such detailing and accuracy in numbers are not supported by Appsflyer or Clevertap.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mixpanel has so many reports and functions which almost yield the same result with slight changes, therefore it sometimes becomes difficult to understand which feature to use and when. Also I find it difficult to fetch mobile device id's of users who are are frequent users of app as well as web, so that I can negate them from my web to app conversion campaign.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- MixPanel is great in the sense that you need just one software for all the analytics use cases.
- It helps us see how users are interacting on our app vs the website, and the step of maximum drop-off.
- It also gives us a fair understanding of the forward flow of the user base.
- With such a detailed analysis of user behaviours, it becomes easier for the product as well as marketing teams to adopt a better approach in terms of deliverables.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
MixPanel has helped us identify product, feature and UI gaps, and fixing those gaps helped us achieve better conversion rates, therefore I would say it had a positive ROI for us.
Easy to use and straight to the point
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to find value on Mixpanel. I feel like it's flexible enough so I can customize my analysis easily and at the same time I don't feel afraid of "breaking" anything. As a non-developer, that makes me feel confident while using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I could set experiments directly thru Mixpanel I think my experience would be complete. Today, we use launchdarkly, but having everything in the same place would be awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel is making measuring and interpreting results feel effortless. It also helps me explain the results, as the visualization it brings is clear.

What do you like best about the product?
I have worked on over 20 platforms and in all of them I have used mixpanel, it's very easy to use and provides the product manager with all information needed to create a kick ass product
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it includes some prebuilt dashboards to make it easier for junior product manager to get started easily, and it would be awesome if there were more details on how and what to capture

It helps me understand how users are using the product, it's a very quick efficient way for product management department to create dashboards for other departments as well

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the way it updates and shares what activities are done on the app in real time. The dashboard is also helpful.

We can see real time data and we can track and see what is happening the app.
User interface is lacking the customization
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface and the real time tracking of the events are great , Gives the whole structure of the things like { user, event and data sended by the project} . It is easy to use for me and my team
What do you dislike about the product?
lack of customization in the user interface and sometimes my events get delayed which sucks , and they should add more fillters to it for better sorting of the data analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps the track of the all events of our project , it's really nice for that . We can get the all structured data from the one place from all across the platforms which is really nice for my project.

It's really powerful and easy to use. Even no professional data analysts can use it at full power

The mobile app is not as powerful as the web browser version

Advanced and super precise analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel offers the most detailed analytics and dashboards. Additionally, it gives us the ability to drill down into the user's activity of app events which is insightful and helps us identify issues with the workflow and provides ideas on how to improve the UX. We can make custom dashboards on Mixpanel and refer to them daily to monitor the performance of metrics which are most critical for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without passing the correct user attributes and having perfect event instrumentation in place, there is not much we can do with MixPanel, therefore it still has a very high dependency on the data analytics team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using Mixpanel for more than two years now and with this, data makes so much more sense and we always get actionable inputs from the intuitive dashboards. Mixpanel also helps in establishing the efficacy of various Marketing Campaigns so that we allocate our marketing budgets more intelligently. They have also improved a lot on their UX and with the new fixes, we can see the whole dashboard on a single screen and do not need to do multiple scrolls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend having Mixpanel in your analytics stack, it makes understanding user journeys so easy and the product analytics help us a lot in improving on various aspects of the product and hence delivering value to our users.
An excellent product analytics tool for any company
What do you like best about the product?
It's very user-friendly and easy to get up and running. There is also great functionality like 'flows' that is incredibly helpful and missing from other softwares like Amplitude.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I particularly dislike, it's a very powerful tool so it can be a little overwhelming at times but once you use it more and more it gets more familiar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me understand how users use our software and how to make certain decisions based on that usage of our product when it comes to making changes or adding in functionality.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its waaaay better than Amplitude and I have used both extensively.
