The variety of charts,filters and views is great.
It is used to share with entir company interesting insights.

Amazing Analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is an excellent tool that gives us insights about our product (both app as well as web). It helps us better understand our users by carefully identifying their behaviour through the means of conversion funnels, and retention cohorts. It helps us make our product more user friendly by bridging the gaps that we identify after analysing user segments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their support team is not very proactive and usually takes more than 48 hours to reply which does not serve the purpose. Also, the tool is a bit complex to use and the onboarding videos are not of much help, they must give more self-help material for increased usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use MixPanel daily and several times a day majorly to see the event instrumentation by the data team and relevant events that can be used in Marketing Campaigns. Mixpanel helps us gauge important user metrics and also helps tweak user onboarding flow after analysing their journey and interaction with the app.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend Mixpanel as it helps in understanding our target users better which can be leveraged for improving user engagement through all platforms be it Acquisition Marketing channels or CRM channels.

What do you like best about the product?
The Mixpanel team is incredibly helpful at getting the tool set up and operational with our product teams. It's made user analytics also easy to use for Product teams, cross-functional teams like marketing and research as well as Senior Leaders.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've been using Mixpanel for a year and a bit now and we haven't encountered any problems that the team wasn't able to help us resolve. Their customer success team has been excellent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted a tool that made client analytics accessible to our product teams and that didn't require an analytics engineer or analyst for every data question. This has allowed our more technical people to solve more complex problems while still enabling our product teams to self-serve their own insights to make decisions and track success against objectives.

Not able to customize dashboards with titles

Track product metrics and share insights with the rest of the company.Turn discussions around numbers and not just sensations. Validate hypothesis with user data. Understand more about the behavior of our users when using our app.

Great tool for product analytics! Easy to use and learn. Not difficult to implement.

It's intuitive to use, but there is plenty of help information if you get stuck.

If you don't have a background in data analysis there is always a feeling that you could be doing a lot more with the product.

We see very few new users converting to paid customers. Mixpanel has highlighted where the problems are in our funnel and we have been able to further investigate those areas with usability testing.

Mixpanel is super easy to implement and makes tracking events and user journeys super seamless!

The only downside for me is the access level control on the free package

I use Mixpanel to monitor and measure our Growth Strategy, and it provides useful insights that facilitate the best product decisions.

I love being able to save/copy our leadership's dashboards and build off of them for my own needs and insights. I love how easy it is to swap up the data set to find the answers we need.

Data vis options can be limited once certain views are set up.

Aligning content with consumer wants/needs and seeing where to fill gaps in our marketing funnel

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and implementation. Once tracked, data is easily managed via intuitive dashboards, which are easy to create. I also like the possibility to rename properties and merge them (lexicon), and the JQL which allows for queries and calculations about revenue to be made easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had trouble sharing data with external stakeholders, view and edit permissions are not very configurable as I'd like. It would be better to have more customizable view permissions for external stakeholders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need customer behavior data to help me and my team evangelize data-driven decision making in a bigger organization which has a cultural problem about it (lots of hippos and wolfs)

Give it a try because if you need analytics about usage, this is the best tool you can dream of, at an affordable price and with the best integrations.

How easy it is to build charts. You don't need to spend an hour like amplitude, very intuitive to deliver and sort out events and user behaviour.

The documentation isn't great.. the web app is often slow when you try to load charts.

We used it as a replacement for amplitude for analytics in our company. Basically all user acquisition details, profile data and attributes are stored in mixpanel profiles
