One of the best product analytics software
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is very easy to use and understand even for people who doesnt have a product backgroud. Helped a lot in analysing data and driving better user insights which helped in various successful campaign both product and marketing side.
What do you dislike about the product?
Constant change in UI for all the Flow/insight/retention reports can confuse most of the time.

- Better Data analysis helping in understanding user drop off from various funnels for different user personas
- Better cohort analysis helping in product growth
- Better source wise analysis helping in analyzing retention and making the right decisions

What do you like best about the product?
We use Mixpanel to track various activities (desktop, tablet, mobile usages) and other matrics

I think it's slightly costly. But still worth to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To track the metrics for the user's activity and gain insights. It gives the feature to filter, group, aggregate, and visualize the data in many ways - whether you want to look at a high-level graph or a detailed table of data.

What do you like best about the product?
Clarity of dashboards and ease for anyone in the organization to understand. The insights we get from Mixpanel are essential for our product development.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing currently frustrating me with the tool. Some more advanced smart insights and recommendations would be nice, but the current offering is already useful and does the job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data analytics for our product. Mixpanel allows us to understand the how our customers interact with the product, seeing what features they like, what we should clarify and help them discover.
This is especially key for feature launches.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Having done a thorough market analysis, I feel that Mixpanel was the best value for money on the market, by far. Warmly recommend them and have done so to several of my friends for their businesses.
Cool User Engagement Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that I can quickly get to the user-engagement statistics I need. It's a quick, lightweight, and easy-to-use software. I haven't used any competitors, but I'm guessing they're more involved and the barrier to learn the software may be higher than Mixpanel.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be more intuitive and they could offer better real-time customer support. I also wish they could make and save common reports that we'll need to pull every month like stickiness
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to learn more about where users are engaging with our software and more importantly, where users are not engaging. We've used Mixpanel data in our QBR review decks.
Quick Analysis Easy Visualization
What do you like best about the product?
We can get the complete information in the form of graphs starting from usage, activity & Retention too. so a tool where we can depend on and bring out insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no such thing as dislike little bit of upgrade would be awesome. like storytelling dashboard creating parameters with many graph options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User Activity understanding the flow they are using,most performed activity which will help us understand the customer top customers top performers all metrics that causes impact to business
Great insights in just a few clicks
What do you like best about the product?
How intuitive and easy to use it is. In just a few clicks you'll be able to get insights that otherwise would take you much more time. Great Support system thanks to the Search Help Center.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is intuitive, the UI could be improved. Sometimes it is hard to distinguish which type of filter you applied. For instance, the "is not" and the "does not contain" filters look really similar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of downloads, ad impressions, new accounts created, etc. We can better understand how our users are using our site, what they are downloading, which helps us improve our services.

If you're stuck, you could always consult the excellent documentation and support system of Mixpanel.
Best-in-class mobile measurement partner
What do you like best about the product?
The robustness of the platform is simply unmatched, as is the data accuracy and precision (we know this as we cross-check many data points with other solutions).
What do you dislike about the product?
Given the technical robustness of the platform, there is quite a ramp-up period. While the support team is relatively responsive, it will take some time to bring everything up to speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing a precise understanding of in-app user behaviors and solidifying our understanding of our power users/target demographics. We have realized both financial and performance gains through this.

What do you like best about the product?
First, I love your documentations. As an Engineer, your documentations are clear and rich, which helps me a lot.
Second, your insights report is totally what our team wants. It's clear and beautiful.
Third, the "Users" feature saves a lot of our time to manage the user properties. We can easily view users' details on the "Users" page.
Last, you have "Dark Mode," the best part. If you have "Dark Mode," you get five stars review from me.

What do you dislike about the product?
I can't change the heigh of widget in dashboard. Somtimes, there are too much data in a widget, so I want to change the widget's heigh, but I can't.

The events and properties concept is easy for our teams to understand and explain to anyone new to Mixpanel.
Our engineering teams do not find it laborious to add event tracking snippets and find the SDKs easy to use. It is simple for them to instrument features as part of the delivery process, making it easy to adopt.
Our product, marketing, and leadership teams get a lens into product performance and user behavior that leads to significantly better decision making, better prioritization and more empathy for the user.
The web interface for reports and dashboards is simple and has all the tools. Retention and correlation insights make answering what matters for users and the business simple.

The mobile app is just for glancing at what is happening it's not really a tool, but that's ok - it's really a desktop product.

We solve the following problems with Mixpanel:
- event tracking and user behaviour
- event based retention to see what features drive retention
- ensuring all team members are thinking about user behavior as part of the design process knowing Mixpanel will be used in product review
- correlation 'if somebody does x within y days they are z% likely to subscribe' then drive that behavior

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend some time thinking about Events, Event Properties and User Properties. Make a spreadsheet before implementing. If you are multi-platform (iOS and Android) use the same event properties and set platform as a super property.

The UI is intuitive and delightful. It's easy to navigate and build reports and dashboards. Performance is great even with large datasets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had a "cockpit" view of all my dashboards -- sort of dashboard of dashboards for easier navigation between dashboards specifically.

Analyzing the impact of feature releases and product usage. Searching for insights and new opportunities.
