Analyse your online app thoroughly.
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of statistics. Once correctly installed, you can measure about anything, cross-platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to make simple statistics or comparisons. Often we drown in data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Need to see the user behaviour, which Mixpanel can show us.
Essential tool for every startup, if not every company
What do you like best about the product?
You only have to expend minimal effort to build and maintain analytical dashboards. It is also very easy to share with teammates. We don't need to have dedicated data analysts to build reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboards are difficult to use on mobile, so it's highly recommended to build and view on a laptop/desktop instead. There used to be a mobile app that was useful for tracking metrics on the go, but it was discontinued.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding app or feature adoption. Tracking user activity. Figuring out bottlenecks to growth. We also use the dashboards to support operations. Tracking growth
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mixpanel should be in your toolset from day 1
Best analytics tool to deeply understand your product
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is my favorite tool to understand how my product works.
I especially like creating funnels - as it allows me to view dropoffs and do quick RCAs and take immediate action.
Also, I can make the funnels (and look at other events) as soon as my features go live. Which means I can iterate really quickly.

What do you dislike about the product?
Mixpanel has a learning curve that takes some time to master. The video training material on the Mixpanel training portal is good, but I reckon this could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly to check funnels and retention cohorts.
Looking at funnels for instance has helped me optimize the return process - by dropping a non critical image upload step I converted my overall funnel completion from 30% to 70%.

What do you like best about the product?
very good for analytical data, making reports, and thus convincing boss about it
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets a little bit confusing sometimes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
helping users with their problems related to the product by figuring out the problem, enables me to make decisions while looking at data, covering all blindspots.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
almost the easiest way to analyze your data
Making Hard Things Easy, Slow Things Fast
What do you like best about the product?
MixPanel makes it easy to get up and running with event logging and product metrics. Once the events are flowing in, it's simple to whip up a battery of reports or a concise dashboard for a given question, which is huge for a startup team without a dedicated analytics engineer. The data lexicon makes for clean post-processing and data maintenance as things change over time. There's a built-in backside funnel for sending the events to a data warehouse, so we own our event data (not MixPanel). We used a completely custom implementation and spent not one minute of our time figuring out how to get MixPanel to work with it. It just worked.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sample event logging plans (a critical step in a successful implementation) are incredibly rudimentary. It's so easy to get going that I suspect many people rush into a 'track everything' approach and end up with a wealth of tracked events that don't help them accomplish their goal. It would have been nice to have some more robust plan examples when getting started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using it to satisfy multiple needs:
1. Tracking changes to and utilization of sensitive data
2. Productivity reporting for internal staff
3. Engagement and utilization data for customers
4. UI/UX optimization

A killing for front end analytic tools
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of implementation. Very flexible of report creation which supports most of our analytic needs on ecommerce website
What do you dislike about the product?
During my first 3-4 hours of exploring. It's interface is quite difficult to understand. But after that you'll love it

Performance of AB testing results. Funnel analysis which can be visualized extremely easy. Self served analytics, effortless to get insights

It'd be great if we have the eCommerce events such as Transaction IDs, User IDs etc. in Mixpanel

o Who are these customers primarily?
o What is their LTV versus those who don't use the feature?

Best tool for granular data visualization
What do you like best about the product?
The granularity of the filters, being able to change the data type
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that we cannot change the colors of the graphs in dashboards. And that we cannot put subtitles in dashboards

We're tracking the success of our features and our employees. This helps us direct our product & process strategy
Great tool, offering loads of insights
What do you like best about the product?
The clean and intuitive interface, which enables you to get started fast and gain insights w/o being a pro right from the beginning
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model is imho a bit too high, although it's worth it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Mixpanel to gain insight in the customer journey and UX in order to optimize where needed
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it!
The best real time analytics software to keep a check on the health of your business and grow
What do you like best about the product?
The user friendly interface makes it very easy for quick dashboarding to draw insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lexicon section doesn't contain a description of events / properties, making it difficult to find properties on your own, without help from someone who has used it before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MixPanel helps me track my daily active and transacting base, and do an RCA on any aberrations in the daily trend.
