Product manager's best friend
What do you like best about the product?
Easy implementation with best practices that help us to implement them easily.

I hope they let us to change the label on charts

Knowing where customers drop off, what feature they use they most and how it impacts certain metrics.
Mixpanel makes visualizing product usage data easy
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy for me to build reports by pulling in the data points I need and choosing the way I'd like to visualize the information. The UI is pleasant and exceptionally simple to navigate. Mixpanel also integrates with the Customer Success software I use daily, Catalyst, which is super convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I actively dislike about using the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can track and analyze important product usage metrics, and I can utilize the data to make informed decisions about how best to support our customers.

I've been using Mixpanel for years, in different companies and it's one of the best tools I've used.
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is extremely user friendly and easy to use, very intuitive and provides a lot of useful reports which are built into the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the past there was an option to send push notifications and in app messages directly from Mixpanel which was very useful because it didn't require integrations with additional tools. Unfortunately these features have recently been removed :(
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Mixpanel to track and analyze user activity on our mobile app. It helps us understand how our users interact with the app, which features work well and which need improving , as well as interesting usage patterns (i.e. on which day our users are most active).

Really great tool, I highly recommend it!

- Insights – Ability to see how the data is flowing along with breakdowns and filtering.
- Funnels - Great way to visualize company’s important metrics and KPIs.
- Users tab - Helps with validation and QA data, and getting familiar with company’s events and properties.
- Dashboards - Contain all insights and metrics, very useful and straightforward for other parts of the company: Analysts, PM, QA and more.
- Customer Support: Extremely responsive and helpful.
- Functionality: Creating new segments, events and properties.

- Lack of documentation (advance funnel guidance, JQL examples and more).
- Additional visualization that could tell the metrics story in a better way.
- Consistent delivery speed for all data (In some of the cases user level data is not sent within couple of minutes which makes it hard to understand user flow).

-Very robust and visually appealing reports/dashboards compared to most product analytics tools
-Tons of options for reporting with all the basics covered e.g. funnels, conversions, insights, paths, cohorts

-Engineering team is very agile - feels like they're always coming out with new releases

Tough question, nothing in particular springs to mind but I was not part of the original set up and I am not an admin

I liked the dashboards feature.. and email digests.
Also mixpanel can send emails when trends are changing which is quite helpful.

I find everything in mixpanel good and have no complaints
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team found it easier to use than amplitude. Data audit, Live View and Cohorts are sometimes really useful.

If you're looking for a products analytics tool...mixpanel is the best option

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see how the users are traveling through different flows of events is really helpful to improve the right set of solutions. Report creation from the events and dashboard creation is much easier along with the tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such. But need to learn how would we analyze the impact of new releases on the events
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're trying to improve the engagement that our users are having with our app and we use Mixpanel to analyze the same. It helps refine our solutions and improve our Outcomes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mixpanel has satisfied our needs as of now. Recently put efforts to make it to full use with the right data dictionary in place. There are many features that you are not aware of how to use. But better than most tools out in the market. If you think of engagement as well, see the comparison with CleverTap and the likes since they have analytics + engagement in the product.
Best way to put Product Analytics in action
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel's interface and design are pleasant to look at, and also very understandable and functional. Even when changing between sections and report types, much of the buttons and actions remains the same, making it a near to zero learning curve. That's helpful for people that are already dealing with Product Analytics challenges to focus on what matters.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mixpanel Could provide more templates, especially for people who are not familiar with some of the "analytics" language. Also, it could have some advanced user-based analytics features that people often end up chosing HotJar to do the task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can measure the use of each feature we implement on our software, make decisions based on this data, we also can track our Free-Trial funnel interactions with accuracy. It's way better than trying to use Google Analytics, if you are in Product Analytics, Mixpanel is your choice. Now Mixpanel also have a role on our sales team, measuring the use of our customers that are on our Free-Trial, giving us a "score" of usage, so, the Sales Representatives have information that can predict who is going to close a deal and who's not.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mixpanel is a no brainer when thinking of product analytics software, also, you will find a lot of content talking about Product Analytics, from themselves and others on the internet, all based on Mixpanel. Using it with Segment also appears to be a good bet from what I'm reading.
