Helpful Product Usage Data

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ease with which one can make quick graphs of insights without having to write SQL queries. If set up correctly, the filters, breakdowns, various charts and graphs are relatively intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be hard to know what action/event a metric is referencing. It would be helpful to have an in-app glossary of terms. We currently house ours in confluence, but if we had it within MixPanel where we could hover/click to see a definition of what each event/parameter is for, that would be awesome (so not necessarily something a dislike but a potential improvement to the product).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are learning more about our users and their flows within our product. This tool also allows us to quickly identify top actions performed within our mobile applications and other events our users experience within our mobile applications. This helps us with user research and discovery as we explore new product opportunities. We have learned about new ways our product is being used and ways in which we can improve it based on insights from mixpanel combined with customer interviews.

What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity, easily integrated, well documented, expressive API. Very powerful insights tools and cohorts. Blazing speed even with millions of events.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is that there are sometimes discrepancies in numbers if I'm observing a specific even occurrence in Insights or in funnel
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are doing everything in analytics. Tracking conversions, observing cohorts of users in A/B tests, setting up notifications if some business-critical events aren't seen for a while.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely a tool worth its money. It will save you time integrating and using. It supports a wide variety of programming languages along with extensive and powerful APIs behind it.

What do you like best about the product?
Easily one of the cleanest and easiest to navigate/user interfaces out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's tough/a little clunky to run in-platform data calculations, and to then have that populate within the visuals for that particular data pull.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily utilizing Mixpanel to analyze how consumers are moving through the funnel: from the time a customer loads a page, to the elements they engage with on the page, to what things speed up or provide friction on their path to purchase, and how all this varies based on what channel and/or region that customer coming from.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy, helpful tool with minimal learning curve for new adopters.

Efficient, Visually Pleasing, and Effective

What do you like best about the product?
Our company has the capacity to provide a platform to Rescue Missed Calls and to provide a more efficient way to contact their clients. Using Mixpanel has given us the ability to view our clients activity and present them with facts that they don't usually have access to, visualizing the value of the services we provide them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be more user friendly but after you get used to it, you can get the hang of it

We are able to rescue client who are considering to cancel their accounts with us and present them with the facts on how they can benefit from our service

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to build reports and funnels with different data needs and collaborate with other team to look at the insights. I love the new UI changes which allow to change filters quickly. I love building dashboards combining multiple reports into one to see broader picture of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Select date options and ranges could be little more user friendly. Also the dashboard refresh is little buggy when you add multiple reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Product Manager, I use Mixpanel to gather data insights about my products users, their geo, behavior, CVR, CTRs between the pages within the funnel, and many other factors related to our products to be able to plan product initiatives accordingly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, I would definitely recommend Mixpanel to any team which is looking for gathering deeper information on their customers, day-to-day business insights like conversions, retention, churn etc.

What do you like best about the product?
All the data visualization and possible queries that we can run. The new design looks great!
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing, pay for additional features like the group by a parameter

Allow our product team to get answers, without any additional data skill. We are able to easily add events and get almost all answers that we need.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the funnel analysis feature - it helps clearly illustrate the paths that users are taking when they enter our product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see any way around this, but it takes engineering time to set up all of the events, and some elbow grease to make sure everything is tracking the right way. Once you get things set up, it is extremely powerful though. Also, perhaps more technical PMs could do this setup themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to clearly see user pathways. Being able to sort our users into cohorts and analyze them based on behaviors.

What do you like best about the product?
I can use Mixpanel to do many important things for our product team. We can use the various reports to quickly find any insights that we need or to grade feature performance post release. We also rely on the messaging functions for automating our CX communication and following up on product-qualified sales opportunities. Mixpanel essentially is a sales rep and analyst for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be cool to add a timeframe to when messages could send. For example, if triggered messages could only be sent in a window on Mon - Fri between 8 - 6 in a user's timezone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scalable messaging- our user base grew exponentially this year. Automating messaging with Mixpanel is excellent, especially since we can ensure that communication is relevant since it is tied to product actions.

Product data- Whether we're evaluating features, looking at behavior to see what to build next, looking into activity for a particular user/account, or just want to monitor product KPIs, Mixpanel has a wide variety of easy to use reports.
