One of the best platform for macOS management and continuous growing
What do you like best about the product?
There continued development releasing new features like Compliance, Blueprints and more, which is helping us controlling macOS more better than before. Easy to ingrate with multiple tools and implementation is also not that difficult.
What do you dislike about the product?
Till now, Jamf is helping in the best possible way. Keep the good work up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping in managing macOS better than any other solution with more deep controls and better integration with Intune, OKTA, Google Workspace. We have done all the experiments and made sure that the users have access to the machine with minimum admin rights.
Best Mac MDM around
What do you like best about the product?
Versatility of software is second to none, and allows for simply customization alongside complicated scripting. It's easy to deploy to end users once setup, but also also for diverse versatility in terms of configuration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer support is there, but no where close to Kandji, they required a paid tier of service to allow you to get better support, and their speed to release new features/simplicity of features does not compare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our users and fleet of corporate devieces secure. seamless integrating to Apple Business Manager to ensure Zero touch deployment is possible.
Working Smarter Not Harder
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro allows me to streamline my workflows while managing our fleet of devices. I can easily group devices to receive the software that they need. The ability to control what the end users can access is also a plus. Working in a school having the ability to group teacher and student devices differently is helpful. We use Jamf Pro daily to help keep our fleet of devices up to date and performing at a high level for our end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning a new system can be hard, but Jamf support and trainings are super helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping devices up to date is essential to reduce security risks. Jamf makes it easy to push out updates to devices.
JAMF Pro is a great solution to our needs
What do you like best about the product?
JAMF Pro is super administrator friendly. Creating device and application policies is easy and straight forward. JAMF Pro is also very fast to apply new policies to devices so there is little down time waiting to test or enforce new or changed policies.
JAMF Pro support is also very responsive to any issues that we may encounter.
JAMF Pro support is also very responsive to any issues that we may encounter.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mac App management and the limited options that are available for scoping to multiple targets groups or being able to exclude from the policy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing our expanding Mac device user base.
Jamf Pro Product Review
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro makes managing Apple devices seamless and centralised. I like how easy it is to automate deployments, enforce security policies, and push apps or updates remotely. Its integration with Apple’s ecosystem (MDM, DEP, VPP) is smooth, saving a lot of time for IT teams. The reporting and inventory tracking are also very reliable, which makes compliance and troubleshooting much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can feel a bit outdated and sometimes confusing for new admins. Certain workflows, like advanced configuration profiles or complex policies, require extra steps and can be time-consuming. The cloud console performance can also be slow at times, especially when running large reports. Pricing is on the higher side compared to other MDMs, which might be challenging for smaller organizations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro helps us centrally manage all our macOS and iOS devices, ensuring security compliance and consistency across the fleet. It streamlines deployment with zero-touch provisioning, enforces policies, and makes app/patch management much easier. By automating tasks like software updates, security configurations, and device inventory, it saves significant admin time and reduces errors. End users benefit from faster onboarding, fewer IT touchpoints, and a smoother overall experience.
If you're serious about managing Apple devices, this is the only logical option
What do you like best about the product?
The organisation is hyper-focused on the Apple experience, and it shows through in the way the product is configured. If you understand how Apple products work, the layout & structure of Jamf Pro will make sense to you. It's extremely feature rich - and they support devices on Day 0, so I know that any new Apple features will be configurable shortly after in the management platform.
Their customer support is good, and when tapping into it as a partner it's even better - the local channel team is excellent and we find that we get great support in deploying the product. The interface is fairly simple to use, and the product itself is relatively simple to deploy, however I would recommend that you take advantage of a Jumpstart if it's your first time using the product as it's a great primer.
The product integrates well with other key line of business applications, and the support for integration with Intune for device compliance makes it a great complement to teams that use multiple platforms. Recently introduced Android support is great too.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's a premium product, and so comes with a premium price tag. In terms of value, we think it hits the mark however if you're a casual user you may find it to be a little too premium for your liking.
I think the Jamf School / Jamf Pro product lineup can be confusing - it feels like School is too simplified and lacks the power and capability of the Jamf Pro product lineup. I'd rather see them extend Jamf Pro with some of the School capabilities, maybe have an alternative UI for teachers and then consolidate onto a single platform. School still seems totally disconnected and to be honest a little pointless given the power & capability of the Pro product.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's critical that we understand the health and compliance state of devices within an organisation, and Jamf Pro supports it, regardless of our device ownership strategy. The product is flexible and powerful.

Not much to dislike, makes the day easier for everyone.

Device Management -
With Jamf this provides a huge benefit because it saves time when setting up devices, ensuring settings are what we define, and allow us to secure every device we hand out.

Reliable MDM Solution for Apple Devices
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro makes it easy to manage our Macs and iPads. I like how simple it is to push apps and set policies. Saves me a lot of time. Setup took some learning at first, but once it’s running, it works really well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial setup can be a bit complex and requires some learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro helps us manage all our Apple devices in one place. It makes app deployment, security updates, and user setup much faster and easier. This saves time for IT and ensures our devices are always secure and ready to use.
Jamf Pro, Jamf Connect and Jamf Protect Review
What do you like best about the product?
Because it is built for managing Apple devices (macOS, iOS, iPadOS, tvOS), Jamf Pro takes advantage of the native APIs and features. That means better compatibility, more reliable device control, and often fewer workarounds. Features like Automated Device Enrollment, using configuration profiles, and leveraging Apple’s security features (FileVault, Gatekeeper, etc.) tend to be more tightly integrated. Zero-touch or hands-free deployment: Once devices are in place, many things can be automated (initial setup, provisioning, app installs, policies). Reduces manual effort. Good tools for inventory, tracking hardware/software version, warranty, and ownership info. That means easier asset management over time. Automatic or semi-automatic patching, updates, managing app lifecycles (installing, updating, removing). For Apple devices especially, having consistent, timely updates is important for both functionality and security. Self-Service portals: allowing end users to install approved software themselves, run maintenance, etc., which reduces demands on IT for simple tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although many users praise the support, others report that for certain issues or in certain regions, response times or helpfulness vary. Also, getting specialized training or support for advanced features may cost extra. Additionally, the reporting features aren’t as polished or flexible as they’d like. Comparing multiple systems, detailed historical usage, analytics sometimes need extra effort or external tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Supporting employees outside the office is hard when you can’t touch their devices. Remote management lets push fixes, policies, and scripts; run inventory; or troubleshoot without needing VPN. Self Service empowers employees to handle routine installs and fixes themselves.
