Jamf in Education
What do you like best about the product?
You're missing out if you're not using Jamf in an IT K-12 environment. It's a solid product and will automate your biggest headaches for you. We've explored many alternatives and always come back to Jamf. Onboarding is great and getting going does not take long. Customer Support has improved significantly over the years and is much better now. Wouldn't change for the world.
What do you dislike about the product?
None I can think of. It really is solid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Disributing 10,000 devices to students.

What do you like best about the product?
The remote management capabilities and the way we are able to script and automate processes and policies.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI overall can be overwhelming. If there was a way to simplify it would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we have a lot of remote users we are able to manage remotely everything at a distance of a click.

What do you like best about the product?
It makes managing and deploying macs easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Thus far I havent camer across anything i dont like.

It solves our management issue with macs. It aloows us to purchase and deploy macs with our applications installed which is a big time saver.

Ease of use, ability to prefill information on devices based on sn before they're enrolled

Too many unresolved PIs which undermine confidence in the product

Management and securing of Mac and iPads, flexibility in site admin rights
Fantastic management tool with a robust user community
What do you like best about the product?
It's the most widely used management tool for macOS. When we have a new task or initiative, odds are someone else has done it and documented their experience. We don't have to reinvent the wheel.
What do you dislike about the product?
not all functionality is available for on premise installs when compared to JAMF's cloud solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding new Mac computers and managing their software lifecycle. We are able to implement zero touch far earlier than our windows counterparts.
Best apple focused mom around with a massive community built around it that can help you.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it gives you tons of buildings blocks and lets you build your environment exactly how you want it. The Jamf community is also unparalleled and a huge value add other mdm's just don't have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes can be a little slow to rollout new profile keys and features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use jame for 0-touch setup of our macs as well as keeping our 2700 string Mac fleet running smoothly and in compliance.

I like the ease of admininistration and excellent support.

The Lack of remote admininistration is not good

Can't think of anything I don't like. Maybe the cost but I don't have much say in that.

I love using Jamf Pro and the integrations with protect and connect.

Some documentation can be difficult to follow but Jamf nation helps with that.
