Solid edge like user-friendly software.
What do you like best about the product?
Every comopenent have been model like as it is. Its an detailed 3D model software. I would like to suggest to people.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times it will take some time to load. And need to resolve some bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its used to help complete my 3D very short duration.

Good Software For 3D Modeling
What do you like best about the product?
We majorly used SolidEdge software for 3D modeling and 2D drawing. Our experience with this software is good because the user interface of this software is very remarkable. Along with its user interface, this software can also be used for the simulation of the models. So, we can do modeling as well as a simulation in a single software which saves lots of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
This software legs when it is connected with other software like Teamcenter. And the simulation of the models in this software takes more time compared to other software like Hypermesh and Ansys. But this software works well when we simulate small models. Overall this software is suitable for 2D drawing and 3D modeling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software helps us in the 3D modeling of the products. Mainly we use this software for 2D drawing and 3D modeling of the products.

It makes task easy and helps to visually represent our creativity. It is easy to use because of great user interface.

Some more features I expect from solid edge like there is less features in 3D to 2D modelling compared to other software.

I use solid edge for my college projects. It makes task easy to complete with time constraints.

Solid edge is simple yet advanced Cad software,it is best for beginners because it's interface is simple and features are also easy to learn .you can easily perform 2D to 3D designs
What do you dislike about the product?
Finite element Analysis or stress simulation cannot be done in this software,take time to open the software some error are unrecoverable,All of the above problems need to be solved

Solid edge is doing great building the product which are required to solve the current industry problem and it's productive needs to be improved by the creator
Excellent software for drawings
What do you like best about the product?
I am using this tool from past two years. And while this time I have observed that the drawing options in this is excellent, and quality drafts are produced in very little time. It is a perfect tool for creating 3D as well as 2D Drawings. Sometimes, I use its simulation features, and it is good as other software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Previously, I have faced issue with Integrating models made in this software into another software. Now, it is fixed thanks to SolidEdge team.

I mostly use this software for making 3D models and 2D drawings.

A proper CAD package from Siemens
What do you like best about the product?
A solid CAD software for part modelling assembly design and drafting. I really love the simple user interface, and the system stability is also something that makes it standout from competitors. It also provides good quality drafts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike, like every other cad package you will go through system errors for some files and crashes , the culprit could be the file or the system itself. The software is sufficient for my needs and i can't complain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Part modelling and assembly design is purpose of Solid Edge for me, manipulation of CAD data and drafting would be the next use.
Solid Edge can be used to make top quality files for 3d printing.
The further uses would be design analysis and simulation which is yet to be utilised.

Good CAD Tool, but very many Bugs & slow Teamcenter integration

Solid Edge is a good tool to model in 3D and create 2D Drawings.
What do you dislike about the product?
- very many stupid bugs every day
- often you cannot finish a command because Solid Edge dont accept the mouse click
- Solid Edge crashes often if you have open more then 5 files, and when you then switch from sketch view to 3D View. All work lost every time.
- the connection between Solid Edge and Teamcenter via SEEC is extreme slow. for every single part in assembly will be check > 20 attribute. Open an Assembly with only 1000 MB take 20-30 minutes!!! Checkin/checkout is very slow.
This issues have all employees in the company, not only 1 user.
This issue happen for older and for brandnes computers.

Solid edge experience from beginner to professional.
What do you like best about the product?
Solid edge having great assembly Features. It's quite difficult than solid works but after using sometime I loved solid edge assembly feature and it's exploded view feature.
I also liked some other feature like - finding components weight after applying material,
Pipe feature is also good, component library is very Diversified.

Solid edge having very difficult & complicated interface than solid works , fusion 360 & autodesk inventor.

It's having a great aseembly features and randering features, 2d drafting from 3D modelinfg.
In 2d drafting it's given very user friendly interface and also having a very good features .
In assembly we can very accurately assemble & explode the view of asembly components and can edit the components at same time.
It's having a ver good randering features. We easily applybto our machine assembly .
