solid edge user experience
What do you like best about the product?
It makes common designer an expert one. It helps an engineer to find the the depth of design. Not only it will give you excitement like finding the treasure but it will also provide you the best outcome in your average life.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its a light weight software as compared to NX. I would love to see its working like NX capability. I really think that someday solid edgd expert computer designer will give us their best output using minor RAM modifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving day to day problems from concept design and optimization to reverse engineering. With only a handful of commands you can do finish lots of complex design. Eventually it will grow your business

It's Synchronous Technology and Drafting

Sometimes it's crashes for no reason and gets hanged.

Analysis side it has less competence, but need to feed more inputs

It solves to make 3D models and converting all 2D to 3D files and simulates
Great CAD/CAE software for users of all levels
What do you like best about the product?
Feature rich modeling capabilities, synchronous technology, rendering with KeyShot, strong Parasolid kernel, super easy simulation (FEA analysis)

outdated user interface, tools often not easy to understand for less experienced users,

Create tutorials on how to properly use CAD CAE software and make other people fall in love with CAD.
Easy CAD tool
What do you like best about the product?
Solid Edge is a very easy to use CAD tool. I can easily create my architectural design models and export them to my architectural projects seemlessly
What do you dislike about the product?
it does a decent job but it falls short on more advanced features that other software offer. Perhaps it's because I work in the Architecture/Urban design market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create simple 3D models and export them into other Urban Design Softwares. Its very easy to create simple shapes.
Simple 3D CAD Software
What do you like best about the product?
It is a simple tool. It is a great alternative to Dassault Solidworks. The user interface of SolidEdge is simple yet powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
SolidEdge is slightly expensive than Solidworks and other CAD software

I designed my Mechanical parts design in Solid Edge. Starting with enclosures to industrial components within the automotive and aerospace markets.
User-friendly yet Dynamic 3D CAD Software
What do you like best about the product?
Solid edge is very easy to use and it is really user-friendly. Beginners can learn this software quickly, and it will be more interesting for them to advance their design skills using this software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is a bug during sketches, but there are some workarounds so this is not a big issue. I think this is just an isolated case issue on my end but still needs to be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solidedge has Stack Analysis and Simulation features, which is very beneficial for us Designers. Because you no longer have to compute manually and do some excel file reports.

Solid Edge is simple yet Dynamic Cad software, the best when you're looking for a user-friendly one.
The solid edge of great use to my organization, it helped us design.

Solid edge does not have a platform to convert the file into .iges.
