Solid Edge is solving several key problems for our marketing team. Firstly, it enables us to create high-quality and visually appealing designs for our products and marketing materials. This not only enhances the overall presentation of our brand but also helps us effectively communicate the value of our products to customers.

It's Easy to design and it's analytical part

Files can't be send to commercial version and it's Watermarks on every drawing

I am using Solid Edge and its portfolio product from Last 4 Years.
What do you like best about the product?
Parametric modeling and synchronous technology are the best tools for my use.
Also Goal seek, Alternate assembly, Generative design are best tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Solid Edge gets crash when we load heavy assembly and its draft.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solid Edge Helps in creating parametric modelling where I can link all my machine data with Excel file.
If input has been changes i will just update my excel file my whole design get automatically updated.

A Powerful CAD System
What do you like best about the product?
Solid Edge is a great CAD system that I would highly recommend using. I use it every day for design and engineering work. It has more features than you would need, but not in an overwhelming sense. There is lots to learn about the software and great tutorials/manuals available online. I love the radial tool feature - it increses my work flow and makes it easier and faster to get to the commands that I use often. A bit of tweaking and you can customize Solid Edge to optimize your workflow. The customer support is also fantastic, any issue that I have had has been solved by calling the help line and talking to a real person. Sometimes they are simple issues that make me feel a bit dense for not understanding right away, and sometimes they are larger issues which are then moved up to Problem or Incident Reports. As Maitenance Packs come out you get to see the bug you found get fixed, or your issues resolved.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really want to talk down on Solid Edge, as I do genuinely like the software. My least favourite thing about SE is how often it crashes, although saying that I have been experiencing less and less crashes lately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Solid Edge solves is simulating forces/strengths of materials. It is so incredibly useful and quick to be able to apply forces to the design you just created and see not only the strength of your design and its weak points, but also how it will react/deform to the force applied. This helps us to consider extra supports or realize areas that are over-engineered allowing us to reduce costs and be overall more effecient in our designs.

Solid Edge is user freiendly, implimentation is too easy. number of features like Synchronous Modeling are very useful while frequently of use to edit non parametric models.

Version compatiability is too different, when we want to use old version and new version
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use to edit non parametric models, there is one special feature is called synchronous modeling, those tools are too useful toedit and modify the model which are designed in Solid Edge or from other software.
The best CAD performance VS. cost
What do you like best about the product?
It is intuitive, comprehensive, affordable, and highly scalable. Additionally, it is the most attractive software for working on non-native designs thanks to Synchronous technology.
What do you dislike about the product?
That they do not introduce many changes in the updates and that the fatigue module is external.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In addition to neat technology design, solve design problems without an operations tree.

What do you like best about the product?
First of all its user Interface is very easy to use and the ribbon toolbar is customizable which shows the software is well made, also I liked the folding of sheets option which helps us to build numerous designs. so far it helps in the implementation of the plans and to help them execute in an effective manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main dislike I see in Solid Edge is its high cost, also there should be more third-party plugins to make it more customizable and easy to integrate with other software.

it helps to create complex designs which helps the business create innovative products as I have seen in my client it is helping them in creation of many unique merchandise which helps them to grow their business.

I am Automobile engineer, i uses for part modelling, 2d &3d and some sheet metal design but for simulation comperision improve like solidworks

Feature editing is on single strip which is difficult to understand and it is free to move. It should be in a tab or column on either side of window.

Ease of modification in drawings and 3D models. Time saving for managing assemblies
