Highly productive course to identify the failures and defacts of the end product by and solid edge
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to understand , give depth knowledge of designing of complete project , productive in real time data analysis of project , less resources needed

Needed more modification like other Engineering drawing tools

Being project and design engineer solid edge help me regularly in project management design ,Currently done the project in my job in which i made awhole plant production layout in solid edge where i identify the problematic area after give recommend solution through standereds like ASTM B36 AND NOMOGRAM AND PRESSURE DROP and through solid edge LEAN six segma and TPM also follow in correct manner

Must recommend by Companies and Engineering university to young designing planning and Engineering to aware the knowledge of solid edge tosolve the real time problem of production and design department

Able to draw multi planar equipments using various shortcuts

Changing the ucs angles to draw multi planar materials

I have solved for checking the critical failure points in some of the equipments designed

Sometimes it's getting difficult to choose point for dimensioning.

What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like the best about Solid Edge is its advanced loaded features such as 2D drawing, CAD tools, Data export or import feature, generation of Bill Of Material (BOM).
What do you dislike about the product?
Solid edge lacks Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulation feature. If Solid Edge could incorporate this feature, things would be much easier and in one platform than jumping from one tool to another. This is the only thing I dislike about the solid edge.

We are designing 3D models of aerospace /mechanical components.
Benefits:
1) 3D model drafting into 2D sheets is done quickly with all detailed views.
2) Sheet metal parts can be made with a high level of accuracy.

It's easy to use, have a nice user interface, synchronous technology gives more control

Assembling is quiet hard, for assembling some time I have to use other cad softwares

Graphics, ease to operate, ease to numbering ,C.G can also find & you can also make videos of your work for circular SPM you can also simulate machine

Surfacing parts is critical ,while taking offsets of surface if not possible it's not shows where is the error is

Synchronous design is a game changer!

The ease of modifying parts and the interface. Also, the technical support has been always kind and helpful whenever I need.

I think some features like mirror and section view could be a little easier, but not a big deal at all.

I'm creating an entirely new drone with all the components and generating the assembly process, technical drawings, and exploded views.
Solid Edge is a pretty good tool for 3D design.

It is easy for anyone to use and can do most modeling tasks. Compared to other programs, the price burden is low.

I think the animation function is poor compared to other tools.

I was able to confirm the design model more specifically and accurately.
