Easy to use and perfect for designing any type of component
What do you like best about the product?
The GUI is super user friendly and all the tools are very easy to use.
Students find it very easy to learn and also use the software for designing products and also completing their Capstone Project work.

Assembly environment needs to be more simpler.

It is very easy to use while changing the design and working on parts and assemblies from other CAD programs

If any one want to use disfferent CAD file models smoothly then Solid Edge is a good option. I would recommend it.

What do you like best about the product?
The User is allowed to do geometry constraint while sketching. The measurement standard can be selected before the creation of the sketch. The recording option is helpful to make a video of the workspace. 3D drawing is easily done. 3D model drafting into 2D sheets are done easily with all detailed views. Intelligence in the selection of line is helpful when it is difficult to select of line in a sketch.
What do you dislike about the product?
We need to purchase the software from a reseller. Customer support needs to improve problem-solving skill. The software doesn't run smoothly in a low configured workstation. The user interface needs to be improved. The software should not proceed with the next design steps if there is an error in sketching. But still, all in all - we like it :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily: Very easy to sketch/create mechanical 3D models and 2D documents for our media projects and also on presentations

I have been using Solid Edge since 2014 and its always have a great experience for in 3d modeling

The User Interface, and indications, themes, markings, I have been using Solidedge since my college days, and Its so easy to understand.

I am not sure what details I can give here.

I have been using solid edge for designing land-based robots for creating both sheet metal and machining parts.

Yes, I would and have been recommending solid edge for my friends.
Solid edge is excellent software with easy to use interface.

Part modelling & assemblies in solid edge can be done in simplified manner.

Some of GD&T features are preety complicated.

Complicated SPM tools required can be easily designed and drafted with the help of solid edge

Easy to handle and user friendly since I have using it since my college days.

There is nothing that I disliked so far. Maybe I didn't use much of it to find some bugs/something which I could have come across.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just basic designing for my fixtures for experiments.

What do you like best about the product?
The 2D layout of control panels with new cabinet panel design capabilities would like the most to use. part molding and the assembly modeling like the most and the feature control toolbar get s more info and I get to know it fully to get enhanced in the solid edge.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, honestly no idea about it. and the interface is new to me with exp. so need to get into it. few info on the future control and the additional options not so information in my knowledge so that would I need to know more and its application how it would behave if I enable the feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
assembly modeling like big assemblies and its exploding and rendering would be more adding some value here with the use of solid edge. most importantly on the rendering option, I have used other tool that gives me direct info but here am not like the most but I would like to get to know more to use those.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would prefer solid edge to others but as this new others may familiar with the different tools available in the market. I too familiar with other tools like Solidworks CATIA and Creo but it's new to me. once get into its tool its has its own gesture and we may find the ease of i=use and advantage in it.
