What do you like best about the product?
The things I appreciate most about Solid Edge is its user-friendly interface, powerful parametric modeling, and real-time simulation features, which significantly enhance my design workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a professional CAD user, my main frustration with Solid Edge is the occasional stability issues and software crashes, which can disrupt the design process and lead to loss of work.

Solid Edge solves the problem of complex mechanical design by providing powerful 3D modeling tools and seamless integration with PLM systems. This benefits me by streamlining my design workflow, enhancing collaboration, and ensuring design accuracy.

Number of features and reverse engineering tool is best in market.

Large scan file (.stl) handling get difficult some of the times.

It is very useful for simulation of mechanism components, which illustrates working of complex assemblies.

It requires some basic knowledge of cad tool. User guide help need to improve.

What do you like best about the product?
Solidedge drafting is mind blowing.Asssembly feature is great in solid edge.Synchornization mode is unique among 3d softwares.Very user friendly software for new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Meachanism constraint should be more specific.Analysis feature should be given more. Software hang in critical feature operation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with large assemblies(Approximatelymore than 10000) parts easier to open in solidedge.Exploded view edit is very good in solidedge(For Sop and manual purpose)

Solid edge: powerfull tool to stimulate the ideas and test it out

Software is quite easy to learn. We can prepare the 3D designs for different parts which are going to be used in the component/machine. We can easily build the virtual prototype and demonstrate the things.

Software installation is quite lengthy process and if there is any issue in the installation then it is difficult to get it resolved.

The most important thing about Solid edge is it provides wide feature to for processing assembly files post integrating windows indexing to provide outcomes on product lifecycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should have included to assemble all parts for desigining but sometimes it misses to add those and proceeds further. Moreover the UI can be more better as of now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most probably it helps in Simulation and manufacturing for my company. It is very helpful for us to proceed with 3D feature for modelling. Generally it helps us to get more efficient requirment for our company and teams.
