Excellent
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane is a password manager that prioritises user friendliness. All while ensuring administrators comply with security needs.
We especially like the SSO integration with our IDP, making it easier for users to access Dashlane.
We especially like the SSO integration with our IDP, making it easier for users to access Dashlane.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issues we've come across is how the passwords handled in Dashlane. When passwords have been added to a collection, the ownership remains with the user who added it and not the business account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashlane solves our password availability needs and access is managed via our IDP
Great for Teams, In-Person & Remote Alike
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to send passwords to new team members and update passwords for the whole team instantly. No more crossed-wires on what the password is. Also, it's easy to adjust team members' access to the password itself. I can make it where a user is able to only copy & paste the password without being able to see what it is and limit the number of users who are able to view and change the password for the team. I also like the feature where I can view what the previous passwords were in case the password is accidentally changed. The Chrome extension is also a life-saver and makes logging in super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a customized permission option for sharing passwords. I would love the ability to make it where users can see what the password is, but can't change it. Also, a Safari extension would be great and would probably solve my first request. Not all our team members use Chrome and so they have to copy the password from Dashlane online.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, our passwords were in a shared Google sheet that was NOT secure any anyone who had the link to that spreadsheet knew our passwords. Now, Dashlane hides those passwords behind a Master Password so only people who need to know what the password is can access it.
Best of breed solution with excellent Enterprise Management features
What do you like best about the product?
The Credential Risk Manager is a fantastic tool for baselining user password security prior to deployment. Dashlane provides great technical guides for enabloing this feature and deploying the extentions via Microsoft Intune. SSO setup was simple, SCIM provisioning makes onboarding users a breeze...
What do you dislike about the product?
While not directly affecting perfomanc ethe organizaitonal structure of login leaves a lot to be desired for users with a large password base. Additionaly ussers are not able to view theie personal Dashlane vault in a single pane, dashlane competiters have an advantage here with some having policy controls to keep profiles seperate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduction in passwords associates have to remember, movement to a more secure product
A good password manager
What do you like best about the product?
Easy set up from admin and end user perspective, a good desktop experience and a good enough mobile experience. The Enterprise features are not as complete as one competitor that I moved from but they do the job. The combination of end user experience, cost and having a clean record around breaches brought me to Dashlane.
I have been a happy customer for the last two years. I have not needed support during that time but our account manager has checked in with me to see how things have been going.

What do you dislike about the product?
Like all Password Managers I have trialled, there are occasional issues with the mobile app on Android not detecting a field entry it could help with, most commonly for payment details. There is an alternative method that works well enough when the auto-detection fails. The restriction on admin users not being able to use SSO is a minor irritation. It would be better if SSO could be used by admins when using it as a user, and then having an additional authentication when needing to use the admin functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browser & device agnostic way to manage passwords in a secure way. Built in enterprise features keep things secure whilst giving some master password reset options, something that's often a challenge for personal subscriptions.
Great Features Overall!
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the auto generator that is able to create passwords. As a System Admin I have been able to use this in almost everyday work. The team that helped us with onboarding as well as continued support has been amazing as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I do not like is the lack of ability to transfer a persons Dashlane account over to a new user. This is still a manual process and takes a download after logged in as that user, and then an upload on the other side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is helping with efficiency in the Systems we use and getting people to use more secure passwords by default.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The password generator works well. I like how it automatically creates a Dashlane file and stores the credentials when a new profile is created.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need a better way to classify business and personal Dashlane entries
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have lots of different system that require passwords, and we want each one to be different so lateral attacks with the same account wont be possible. Dashlane makes this easily managed while still maintaining a secure posture
A great application for storing and sharing passwords
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can share passwords with the team easily including to a group of predefined users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish you could stay logged in for a longer period of time but do realize this could form security risks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing a large number of logins as a software development team.
Secure if you remember to log in and save every password
What do you like best about the product?
I feel it is keeping our organization more secure than without it and it is nice to share passwords when people remember to do it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't remind me to login or to share passwords. Other staff are changing passwords and they don't share.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping passwords in one place.
Dashlane Non Profit Review
What do you like best about the product?
What i find best about dashalne is the ability to create groups and share passwords to groups, supporting role based access. So i can create groups per team/function and share passwords and when i start someone, i can just assign them to groups and they have the access needed. dashlane is easy to use and implement for a non technical ngo.
What do you dislike about the product?
What i dislike is the inability for the dashlane chrome extension to learn when NOT to fill in passwords, I find it sometimes isn't clear that someone is saving a password and over riding an already saved credential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashlane is helping solve the problem of needing to access shared accounts by enabling ease of sharing and enablement of mfa tokens being added directly into saved creds because it means not having to rely on one person to hold the MFA token.
Easy to Administer and Deploy
What do you like best about the product?
Great for novice password manager users, and easy to administer
What do you dislike about the product?
None, it is easy to deploy and use. I would roll it out without hesitation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password management solutions like Dashlane can be useful in the cloud to mitigate the risk of malicious access. The use of Dashlane to eliminate low-quality reused passwords and eliminate compromised security is an added value to the business.
