Dashlane - a once powerful password manager
What do you like best about the product?
A once great tool for consolidating passwords and sensitive information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashlane has become a victim of its own success. It was so advanced in its day that the company has become complacent. It was once a stand-alone app but now is merely a browser extension.
It is clunky and has not kept up with the times. Using Dashlane has become bothersome.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer need to commit passwords to memory. Dashlane is available across all platforms (e.g. Windows, macOS, PCs, MACs, iPhones, Androids) and conveniently available to the user.
A compliant password manager
What do you like best about the product?
It's able to store and share passwords simply, and has a easy to use extension for Chrome.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd prefer to have a desktop application. I've found it very confusing to be able to share passwords effectively with my team. It seems like we eventually figure it out but it should be a lot simpler of an interface to be able to do this since that primarily what we use it for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the problem of being compliant with SOC-2 and to a degree solving problems with sharing secrets and passwords that are used by many people in the company.

It securely stores passwords is easy to use and is economical

Really do not have any complaints with the software

Solves keeping track of multiple passwords for staff without them having to resort to writing them down or using same passwords

Web extension automatically fills login forms & logs in - when correctly configured, it's like those websites don't even require credentials anymore.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really miss the desktop version - I'd rather use that than a browser

Too many passwords to deal with in the normal fashion

Convenient & easy way to keep passwords
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane makes it easy to keep both business and personal login and password information secure and handy. I only have to remember my Dashlane master password. And, any time I create a new login/password, it automatically asks if I want to add and or update. Dashlane has made it possible for my staff to keep up with multiple user ID/passwords and to use better, stronger passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downside of Dashlane is that it tries to "help" me on retail websites by auto populating information fields. I have to manually tell it to "stand down" -- not hard but can get a bit annoying sometimes. It is really minor!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashlane makes it easy to keep up with all user ID/passwords and to have stronger passwords. It makes it simple to maintain the information and automatically populates when going to the respective sites to login.

What do you like best about the product?
No more reusing passwords and scribbled notes, they must be used a dozen times a day.

Auto populating fields and auto logging can be a pain.

Password manager keeps track of various logins.
A password manager is an absolutely must-have in the modern world, and Dashlane is one of the best!
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane has one of the most intuitive browser add-in GUI's of any password manager I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to re-add a former employee if they were disabled for an extended period of time, and they forgot their master password. There's no way to recover those previous passwords, and it's not even possible to reuse a primary email address, even using the Admin panel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashlane is a game changer for password administration, and it's mostly solving the issue with users that constantly forget their passwords and constantly waste time performing password resets.
Excellent way to share account access without compromising security
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Dashlane to share account access with colleagues easily and securely. We use the Business Plan, and it's terrific!
What do you dislike about the product?
The Business Plan doesn't allow us to change the business domain. We rebranded a few years ago, but our team still has to use our old email addresses for logging in. You can't change your email address on the Business Plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to give team members and freelancers access to certain accounts without sharing the actual password. Makes working together much easier and secure.
Dashlane is a time saver
What do you like best about the product?
It is so helpful to have all of my passwords in one secure place. Only one password to remember. It is also great how the Dashlane pops up when you get to the user name and password section. It is also great how you can share information with others using Dashlane. I use it many times a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me remember all of my passwords without worry about saving them individually and unsecurely on the computer itself.

What do you like best about the product?
perfect integration with browser, very convenient. 2fa code now is supported so that I can share it with other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really like the structure, we need more folder/permission options to make passwords more organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
sharing 2fa code to other members, I don't need to set 2fa individually for everyone.
