Dashlane Starter for Business
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane helps simplify cyber hygiene by making using unique, complex passwords (and even usernames) a snap.
Dashlane Starter for Business is the perfect tool for small teams that need to share credentials and improve their security posture. For $20 a month, the 10 licenses are a huge value to simplify saving and sharing credentials, secure notes, and payment info. The affordable price point makes it a very attractive option for those skeptical about moving to a password manager.
The Administration console is straightforward and helped make deploying licenses to employees easy.
The additional Dark Web monitoring is very insightful.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Dashlane would simplify the process of downloading a monthly billing statement.
The inclusion of Passkey support is great, but the section remains hidden until after a user adds their first Passkey. By not showing it as an option, I can see where some people may not know it's an available feature.
It's very difficult to access the credentials of past employees once their licensing has been removed from their accounts.
The separation of "work" credentials and notes from personal could be much clearer and stronger.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping my team understand that complex passwords are a requirement of doing business, making it easier to do so and sharing safely when needed.
The Dahlane Admin console also is helping me know who is taking the initiative seriously and who is not, by showing me the number of passwords each user has and how many are recycled.

Dashlane business has met our needs for securing our passwords and secure notes.
What do you like best about the product?
We utilize the shared passwords feature for many of our teams which helped us clean up unsecure spreadsheets and other methods of storing passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
Utilizing the SSO feature when starting caused existing personal users of Dashlane that were using their work email to have to move any personal accounts and passwords to another Dashlane account so they wouldn't lose those when they left the company. Since users will no longer have access to the account with their business email when they leave, it was a bit of work and scrambling to move all of the non-work related passwords.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shared passwords, passwords being stored in unsecure locations, passwords being stored in browsers...which are all helping us be a more secure organization.
Simple Straight Forward and Multiplatform
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very streamline. It's not difficult to navigate through the various options for the software. It's really convenient that it is available on multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't integrate the administrative console well into any browser that's not Google Chrome. I have traditionally used Safari, but it's not a good option when I cannot administer from that browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure password and note management.
Great Value No Frills Password Manager for Startups
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane helped us from day 1 share sensitive credentials across different departments and function roles in the business. Out of the box configuration took no time, and we were able to set up a comprehensive SSO set up with fair encryption in under an hour.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if the Secure Notes could be better categorized. Currently they are just in an alphabetical list which can make managing them at scale fairly cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a sufficiently complex and random password for our services that do not support SSO or for shared service accounts. It is helping us share .env configurations as well. The Admin console provides good insight into employees who do not practice the best password hygiene (reuse, underutilization)
Let Dashlane take care of your passwords.
What do you like best about the product?
I can create one complex password for each website or application, and I don't want to remember it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Password synchronization between the web and the app would be more quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have the highest security possible using a different and complex password for each website and application.
Good Product
What do you like best about the product?
The synching across devices and the ability to protect passowrds when an employee leaves top the list of great features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The odd website doesn't like the login process - but you're just a cut and paste away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps a significant number safe across the web and allows sharing between staff members.
Dashlane in a small business
What do you like best about the product?
We have 3 employees, and use Dashlane to store all passwords. The password generator means we have complex and, most importantly, unique passwords for all different sites. The system monitors for leaks on the darkweb and notifies us if a website we have a password for is hacked or whatever, we then go in and change the password. It automatically prompts when we change a password, so the system is updated, and we have a sharing centre where we can share passwords with each other, we can even do this such that the other staff member can have dashlane fill the password but doesn't actually know what it is - so they can't write it down! Autofill of website info like name, address, payment details is good, and we have a button embedded into the Chrome browser. I also have it on my phone and it works well there too. Recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, it works well, can't fault it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased security and improved speed of logging into websites, plus sharing passwords with other employees - this also allows us to immediately remove access if a staff member leaves, and makes changing passwords easy. The password generator is great.
The most solid Password Manager for Teams and Enterprise
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane is an excellent password manager and has a stellar record of no security incidents like some well-established competitors.
I really like the team management feature ( we use the business version ), which allows centralized control and enforcement of policies.
The dark web monitoring is a great feature too. I was notified of the recent Trello breach in a matter of hours.

What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is friendly for tech savvy users, but for regular business users, it could be better. It could also include an self-assessment about repeated password, weak passwords, etc
From an admin perspective, it would be great to have the possibility to audit the users in the account for the same features mentioned in the above paragraph.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Avoids the temptation of regular uses to create simple passwords or reuse them
Game-changer
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to store and generate passwords. Very easy to use and implement. Dashlane is a must have as part of my day to day.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I am forced to share what I dislike about Dashlane, it has to be that some websites don't play well with password managers (like banking websites) and it would be good to know or get a prompt that Dashlane might not work well for these websites based on user feedback or failed login attempts data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to store, manage and retrieve passwords across various websites and SaaS tools.
Easy For Small Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to use and set up. Good and simple Passwords policies to setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Eager to get the multiple password changer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
