Using Dashlane for Business is Key to Keeping Business Secure

  • February 23, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Once you have Dashlane set up, its easy and quick to log into websites to get your work done. No thinking is needed, and yet your logins/passwords are secure. You can do this from your phone app also.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Dashlane tries to generate passwords for sites you do not want to remember. Then you have to click cancel a couple of times before you can continue on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our whole team makes sure that our sites and information are kept secure by using Dashlane. We can share passwords between teams - this is one of the best benefits of Dashlane.

Dashlane simplifies time managing saved passwords across platforms

  • January 17, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can integrate dashlane with google and use it to directly sign into all of the different applications and tools that I use, without having to remember offhand every password.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a bit clunky and the plugin has to be deleted and reinstalled when it doesn't work, but overall it runs smoothly with very few errors, and having solid encryption is a big plus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we are solving is saving time managing passwords across dozens of the enterprise applications we use, we also have an administrator that manages our systems so having a single access point that she is able to view and manage our passwords was necessary. We have been able to accomplish all of the goals that we needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Worth checking it out, we have enjoyed using it and the pricing is very cost-effective.

The ideal password storage manager

What do you like best about the product?
I discovered dashlane nearly 10 years ago (crazy!). I originally used it to house all of my personal passwords, but I now have begun to use it for any and all passwords. It is quick, efficient, beautifully designed, and easy to use across devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the free platform allowed for more usability across devices. They allow it, but only for a certain amount of time. But to give you an idea of how much I like it, I still use the product anyway.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is my go-to password manager. I have others that I may use internally, but they are not my first pick. The benefits of having all of your passwords securely saved in one place is priceless.

Dashlane can help solve user password issues

  • December 13, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The application is simple, intuitive, compatible with most mainstream browsers. It is portable, which means it can be used anywhere and on any computer. The application works on android and IOS devices as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app needs to be kept fully up to date with web browser changes as updates occur. Once in a while a browser update causes the app to malfunction, but this is a rare event.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has reduced user password confusion. As well as improving password security - those notes under the keyboard or ON THE MONITOR with passwords have disappeared.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have found Dashlane to be a better value than alternative products.

Almost perfect, but missing a few components

  • December 08, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane takes security seriously. Their architecture and implementation is well done, and the user interface is top-notch. Typically the password manager also has a host of common sites like Netflix, UPS, GitHub, or Dropbox. It can change passwords automatically, which helps users better ensure their security with ease. Dashlane has been iterating and delivering on new features recently and doing so with quality. SCIM integration is also on the way, which will be hugely helpful for onboarding processes!
What do you dislike about the product?
From a business management perspective, the admin console falls a tad short. For example, you currently can't easily export a CSV listing of all users, but you could easily do so if you're using the AD or SAML integration. It's also a bit more rigid compared to 1Password. For example, you can either enforce two-factor or not but can't set the type of 2FA required, nor are any failed login attempts reported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing non-privileged (i.e. IT) passwords for our end-users. We've realized enhanced password security and end-user awareness. It has also enabled additional productivity for our end-users w/fewer password resets.

The user-friendly platform! Super easy to use and learn quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There can sometimes be a delay of receipt when a password is shared.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing passwords for a large team has never been easier. What could be a daunting task is made stress-free with Dashlane. And it helps to know it's secure.

    Non-Profit Organization Management

A highly secure, and versatile password manager

  • December 08, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane keeps the passwords safe while simultaneously allowing easy access to those passwords. It also allows the users to store credit cards and notes securely. What's more - the business version also comes with VPN services. Finally, the mobile app provides seamless access to all your sensitive info while keeping everything secure. Collectively all of these functions make Dashlane stand out from the rest of the password managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having a 2FA authenticator function built-in. However, the password manager along with the VPN does a solid job of securing your internet traffic while keeping your sensitive info secure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Time saved by autofilling passwords
2. Time saved by password change option
3. Security dashboard shows your re-used and compromised passwords
4. Sharing passwords securely with your team is super easy. No more sharing passwords via emails or post-its

Overall we're thrilled

What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding from the daslane team was outstanding. They worked with us to get everything setup, create a plan for rolling out, and then helped train our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a bit of confusion on the best way to set up the included family accounts. Additionally, and we know this feature is coming, for offboarding a user, they have to export their passwords and create a new personal account. We would love to see a way to combine personal and work accounts, similar to Lastpass.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To say that security should be the number one priority for businesses these days would be an understatement. Not only are we ensuring our users are creating better/stronger passwords for their business accounts, but it's also educating them on best practices for their personal accounts. We're seeing a lot of our employees pick up on this importance and run with it, applying it to their personal passwords and sharing it with their families.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When compared to Lastpass, it's clear that Dashlane is missing some cool features. However, the overall experience of rolling out Dashlane, syncing with our directory services and day-to-day use has been far superior to what I've experienced with Lastpass in the past. We tried both and ultimately decided that Dashlane was the way to go.
