My view on Onesignal
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set up and integrate with website. Allows for various segments targeting and customized notification delivery for different recipients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Max. 6 segments for Free account. I need to edit my segment every time to send it out to different target users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Was trying to capture potential users in case they did not convert via our PPC campaign. Onesignal allows retargeting to those users.

Not great for orgs with lots of separate accounts and audiences. No consolidated actions or metrics.

We use push notifications and in app messaging mostly. Push notifications for every transactions users make on our platform.

Quick Setup, Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
I am using OneSignal for the last three years to send push notifications. I have tried many other services but in the end, I came back to OneSignal. OneSiganl is very easy and quick to set up and very easy to use.
I personally like its "Intelligent Delivery" option for sending push notifications. I saw a higher click rate when I choose this option.
I also like its 'custom segments' option. By this, I can send personalised notifications (I loved this).
The other thing that I like is availability on almost every platform. OneSignal has wide-range support for example many WordPress AMP plugins have the option to integrate it.

What do you dislike about the product?
I tested many other serviced and expericed that OneSignal's dashboard is slow as compared to the others. The other dislike for its segment limitation. I only can add only two custom segments(Yes it can be upgraded).

I use OneSignal for sending push notifications to my website users. After installation OneSignal's push notification service on my blog, I grab 5-10% subscriber everyday and I can easily retarget them to come back to my blog.

Not possible to use images on iOs systems

Cost for startups with more than 30k users

We used Onesignal to support our different terminals(mobile apps, web Apps..etc)

Documentation is excellent, the product is easy to use, and support has always been very responsive

I'm still not convinced it's properly sending out warning emails when push certifications are getting close to expiration.

Push Notifications Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
Integrating OneSignal with our app was super simple. And sending push notifications is super simple via the OneSignal dashboard and via the API. I also love the different delivery features they have (immediate, user time zone, intelligent delivery).
I'm also very impressed with their support - I've reached out to them multiple times with questions I've had or issues I've come across, and they always respond very quickly and help me with whatever I need. They've even fixed bugs I've noticed within a matter of days with is amazing (thanks again, Jon!)
Overall a really solid product that has saved us hours of engineering time.

What do you dislike about the product?
My only real complaint is their API is still under construction, it seems. Not infrequently, it returns 503 errors and often has maintenance windows that can be hard to deal with. But overall, it's not bad and continues to improve every week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending push notifications. Benefits: saved hours of engineering time by not having to build out our own notifications system. Great support team to help with any questions or issues.
