Great platform for traffic adquisition
What do you like best about the product?
I'ts easy to use the platform and, specially, create a segment

They platform had several downtimes that them inform via email

Yes, One Signal it's a big solution for traffic adquisition in media companies

In OneSignal, I most value the intuitive interface, versatile applications, the ability to target messages, and the clear data on their effectiveness.

Limited customization options for certain features and occasional delays in message delivery.

OneSignal simplifies the process of engaging users through targeted push notifications. It helps improve user retention, boosts engagement and saving time.
Useful for a while
What do you like best about the product?
It connects my audience giving them ways to subscribe to my content, they can opt to receive my emails or just notifications about new content
What do you dislike about the product?
It starts to loose efectiveness after a treshhold or maybe I have not configured it well, but the number of people it reaches have decreeased over time and I don´t really know if old subscribers are still finding my content or not

OneSignal creates an easy option for my readers yo get to know my content by just subscribing to the notifications or emails to be able to read my daily content.

Really simple setup and it does the job!

It was really easy to configure and implement it in our website. For the prices I think is a very good option.

It took a while for me to adapt at the new dashboard, but now it all makes more sense.

It sends real time notifications to our subscribed users in our web platform so they can take action.

It allows you to manage user communication across various channels from one dashboard. This feature helps make the monitoring of push notifications easier and the information is clear and accessible.

The notifications shouldn't include as much sensitive information as they do.

It helps me to track engagement milestones at a time when competition in the news sector is fierce.
Super simple to get started
What do you like best about the product?
OneSignal has definitely been well used and they have smoothed out a lot of rough edged. We came from another messaging service, and this was was hands down simpler to use and had much more documentation
What do you dislike about the product?
Their growth tier is not a long term option. Don't make the decision to start OneSignal based on the price of their Growth tier. Multiply that by ~10x, and that's what you'll be paying for the Pro tier. There are some key limitations they have put on the growth tier (number of tags/segments/journeys) that will make it almost impossible to stick with that long term.
It likely is still worth it at that higher price, but that would be good to know before there is a large switching cost.

We don't have a way to schedule a batch of push notifications yet.
