What is our primary use case?

OneSignal has been a very cost-effective way for me to have a direct connection with our user base. I have used OneSignal to send push notifications via our website as well as through our mobile apps. The marketing department especially utilizes it to push critical messages that our organization cares about.

The notification allows us to generate significant traffic at an extra affordable rate compared to some of the other alternatives.

A specific example of a campaign that stands out to me using OneSignal is how it is very effective for getting push messages out on a new contact, special offers, and anything that someone visiting our website will generally be interested in.

OneSignal is one of the best and only free push notification services on the market.

What is most valuable?

OneSignal offers excellent features including push notifications, integration, easy installation, and easy scheduling. It connects with WordPress for hands-off notification and provides a simple user interface for composing messages.

Out of those features, the segmentation feature makes the biggest difference for my team, as it is very effective in allowing easy targeting based on various criteria such as geographical area, engagement levels, and specific transactions. This capability enables our business to deliver personalized messages to our audience effectively. Additionally, the efficient push notifications are highly configurable and provide real-time delivery, ensuring timely communication and offering valuable metrics for tracking performance.

I also love the in-app messaging feature, as it enhances user engagement by providing visually appealing and interactive content within the mobile app experience.

OneSignal has positively impacted my organization by increasing user engagement, increasing user retention, and increasing brand awareness by approximately 60 to 70 percent.

What needs improvement?

OneSignal can be improved by developing features faster per user requirement. An inbuilt and easy-to-use segmentation should also be included, and existing users should receive access to a free freemium model for new features.

Regarding needed improvements, I can say that the integration and reporting have been seamless, and I have had no problems with those aspects.

I have been using OneSignal for approximately three to four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

OneSignal is indeed stable. I have not noticed any downtime, and it has performed well so far.

OneSignal's scalability is great, as it is very scalable and can handle my organization's growth.

I have seen a return on investment with OneSignal being highly cost-effective for our overall marketing, as it has reduced our cost of customer acquisition and increased our conversion rate.

OneSignal has reduced the customer acquisition cost by 40 percent and increased the conversion rate to 27 percent. We now have an average customer retention rate of 50 percent.

OneSignal is one of the most cost-effective tools available and is very affordable in terms of pricing, setup cost, and licensing.

OneSignal provides fast push notifications that enhance marketing strategies. It is very easy to set up and integrate with third-party services, and it is rich in API for app messaging. It comes with a free plan and easy integration, making it an excellent tool to use. I would rate this product an 8 out of 10.

What is our primary use case?

OneSignal is my main choice for push notifications because I believe it is the best option available. The platform is top-notch for push notifications, offers a fair pricing model, and provides excellent customer support. We have been using OneSignal for many years and are very satisfied. I would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to build their push subscriber channel.

A specific example of how I use OneSignal at work involves organizing push notifications across our website and mobile apps. For years, we have used OneSignal to manage our push automations and push campaigns. We are very happy with how the platform works, and their pricing model is fair. Currently, we have approximately 4,000 to 5,000 push subscribers, and our campaigns perform exceptionally well with OneSignal.

Day-to-day, I appreciate that OneSignal can send push notifications to all major browsers and devices, which allows us to reach our customers easily.

What is most valuable?

The best features OneSignal offers include lightning-fast performance, very easy setup and integration with third-party services, a rich API for in-app messaging, and a free plan for messaging up to 10,000 subscribers. I love the push notifications, automation, and push campaigns features.

All the features I have mentioned are great and robust, and they help elevate our marketing campaigns through effective push notifications.

OneSignal also has multi-platform support, is very well-documented, and is developer-friendly.

OneSignal has positively impacted our organization by allowing us to grow the number of subscribers in a short time organically. We are able to send our news and offers easily and instantly. We have become able to drive more website traffic and increase our sales engagement and campaigns easily.

Regarding the increase in website traffic and sales engagement, we have been able to reach more customers than with our previous tool. More than 60% of customers have been reached over the past years when we compare it to our previous tool, CleverTap. It is also very cost-effective, targets our market effectively, and is easy to maintain.

What needs improvement?

OneSignal can be improved by addressing the expensive pricing of $309 per month for approximately 100,000 subscribers. SaaS platforms present concerns regarding data privacy and reliability with respect to data protection. I also wish it were easier to create more automation flows.

An interactive dashboard is needed for improvements.

I am uncertain whether OneSignal needs other improvements around analytics or reporting.

I have been using OneSignal for about four years.

OneSignal is very stable with no downtime or lagging experience. Performance has been excellent.

I decided to switch from CleverTap to OneSignal because OneSignal has the most engaging and responsive customer support. It is very easy to use for both us and our clients.

Based on my experience, the pricing, setup cost, and licensing are very effective. Setting it up is straightforward and easy, especially due to the intuitive user interface, which is easy to customize and navigate for new users.

I can share that we have seen direct purchase conversions on new offers. It does an excellent job of driving traffic to off-site locations such as YouTube for new videos.

What do you like best about the product?
I especially like how easy it is to schedule messages and target the right users. Setup was quick, the documentation is clear, and once it’s running, it just works.

It’s been very stable for my use case. Nothing so far.

What is our primary use case?

OneSignal is fantastic for getting push messages out on new contacts, especially when launching new products, special offers, and anything that someone visiting our website would generally be interested in. Keeping our contacts engaged is a great way to build an organic audience in a world that relies on social media traffic to fuel web traffic. OneSignal has a big opportunity to be overused, however.

OneSignal is perfect for what we do. It is easy to use, and the customer support is very easy to reach. We use it on our magazine also. We send more than 100,000 notifications daily and it performs well.

This tool has really been helpful, especially for push notifications to segmented users. We are able to send discounts to different segments of users, such as 20% to inactive users, 10% to active users, and 5% to engaged users. This action promotes recovering and improving the use of our app. We can also schedule all messages for one or two weeks, which has saved us a lot of time and money since only one person manages the scheduling. With in-app messaging, we can achieve a return on investment, particularly when making sales for a limited time, and the combination of these three examples can improve retention and provide a great ROI.

OneSignal is perfect for push notifications, in-app messaging, and general communication with our users in our app. If you have a developer team, they will need to implement it once, and after that, the platform offers more advantages and is free until you reach a significant number of users. OneSignal may not be suitable if you do not have a technology team that can implement it into your application.

What is most valuable?

The best features OneSignal offers in my experience include the ability to track reach, click, and other stats. It integrates well with WordPress, can segment an audience, can send manual push notifications, and is easy to use. Additionally, you can send automatic notifications and schedule them, and it is also easy to install.

I find all of these features very useful as they help us to reach out to a larger number of our audience and elevate our marketing strategy. The interface is very user-friendly and easy to customize to fit organizational needs.

OneSignal has positively impacted my organization with increased sales attributed to it, a higher number of monthly visitors, increased customer loyalty, and it keeps users coming back, supporting customer retention. It brings us additional traffic and helps us promote our products to our audience whenever I want. It is readily available.

I wish to improve the mobile app, especially for those working remotely or on the go, making it better for them. There are also improvements needed in delivery ability and concerns about data storage.

Scheduling to multiple mediums can be difficult. For instance, we have to do separate notifications for the app and website, which is time-consuming.

It has helped us to increase our marketing strategies, and we have seen a lot of productivity growth in my organization.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the direct line to customer support; it's top-notch. I've had many specific questions when a journey I set up wasn't working, and I've been able to have an ongoing thread with Brit, who takes the time to review exactly what I've done, tells me why it's not working, and guides me on how to repair it. I find the platform to be intuitive, making it easy to navigate and use the features effectively. The initial setup was smooth, and we were able to import real-time customer attributes immediately for use in messaging.

I find the AI assistance lacking because it gives misinformation that sends me down wrong paths; if I ask a specific question on how to do something, and the words I use match an answer to a different question, it gets confused.
