Surprisingly Powerful!
What do you like best about the product?
Once I started to understand what OneSignal is and how to make it work for me, the power of the system astonished me. I'm simply using it today for web push notifications, although I can see migrating all my SMS and even some email over time. The web push technology is very flexible and powerful, it's literally kept me up at night dreaming of what's possible!
What do you dislike about the product?
I subscribed to OneSignal long before I took the time to understand and use it. The learning curve was surprisingly steep at first, but as soon as things started to "click", the power of it took hold. Their training and documentation are actually really good, but the very first couple of steps were daunting. I'm not even sure this is a negative, it's just a fact that it's fairly technical for a non-developer to understand and implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using OneSignal to deliver push notifications with deep links to our training website to our paying subscribers and to augment/replace daily training emails.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform offers a seamless experience for uploading my target audience, enabling me to engage in personalized communications across various user segments. Whenever I have questions or face challenges, the support team is exceptionally responsive and attentive. Additionally, the system is designed in a way that allows my technical team to effortlessly implement the required integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate more detailed information regarding the contents and functionalities of the packages. Additionally, it would be beneficial to maximize the utility of the service within the constraints of the allocated budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OneSignal is my go-to tool for setting up marketing communications effortlessly, encompassing SMS and push notifications. Its user-friendly interface allows for easy segment additions and hassle-free A/B testing.

Easy to use and implement. I have tried using firebase but, when I looked into OneSignal, it really attracted me to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such, but payment method is not as per Indian, I struggle every month for payment.

I am using Push to communicate with my club members, I also want them to engage using Push.

OneSignal is a great way to increase user retention
What do you like best about the product?
Onesignal is user-friendly platform to manage push notifications and engaging with our audience. Setting up campaigns is easy to do. Comparing to competitors it is easy to use and Free plan is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Apart from push notification if they add new web & mobile notification methods like sticky note on the website saying offers to the user on specific landingpage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Onesignal, we've had fantastic delivery rates. Our audience consistently receives our push alerts right away. It is helpful to update the users by new offers.
A Reliable Push Notification Provider
What do you like best about the product?
One of the standout features of OneSignal is its impeccable reliability. Push notifications are delivered on time which is a massive plus for our customers dealing with sports data, who need to send live score updates as close as possible to the moment when they occur.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their recent pricing structure update. Their new membership tier has had impacts on our customers who had to reduce the number of tags they could use or upgrade to a more expensive plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's essential for our business to reach users on various platforms, including iOS, Android, and web browsers, but also to have the ability to target specific segments. OneSignal allows us to do so without too much hassle on our side.
A great way to increase user retention
What do you like best about the product?
Setup of push notifications is easy, especially with OneSignal's own WordPress plugin, but advanced customization of the signup alerts and segmentation is also simple thanks to the Javascript SDK. The interface to send push notifications is clear and concise, and being able to segment (by interest and country), schedule and retarget means it has everything we need to bring visitors back.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't actually think of any disadvantages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a news publication, bringing users back to the site and improving retention rates is key, and OneSignal helps us do that. It's always a challenge getting new users to subscribe, but we've been surprised at the open rates for the notifications, and have easily brought in millions of additional pageviews.
