Its one of the most affordable platform, i used it for push notification in my apps.

We can't see delivery metrics we have to download a big sheet everytime. That should be improved.

It made sending push notifications seamless to me. Integration with firebase is also smooth. Its better than fcm.

Here are some of the disadvantages of OneSignal: Limited customization, limited analytics, limited targeting options and limited automation. This can be a disadvantage for businesses that want to create unique notifications that stand out from the competition and track the success of their campaigns and make improvements.

OneSignal provides a Unity SDK, REST API, and a dashboard for Unity developers to deliver effective mobile push etc which I needed for my apps. It solved my problems in a cost effective manner.

I have noticed that OneSignal can be slow at times, which can be frustrating when trying to send time-sensitive notifications. Additionally, I have found that the SDK takes up a lot of space, which can be a concern for mobile apps with limited storage capacity.
Moreover, I was disappointed to learn that OneSignal recently reduced the number of tags available in its paid tier, which may limit my ability to effectively segment and target users.

What do you like best about the product?
OneSignal is an easy to use push messaging platform that makes the work of developers very easy. OneSignal is cross platforms which helps us send notifications to our users using our applications on any platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
OneSignal's new sdk depends upon kotlin, which increases the size of the built applications due to heavy packages in kotlin-stdlib. Their current sdk is good but they should fix some issues, I've reported some of them on their github repo too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OneSignal solves our problems by making push messaging more convenient. It helps us by sending notifications to all platforms like : IOS, Android, Windows and Web App with a single click. How convenient is that ! Earlier our push provider wasn't cross platform so we needed to send our notifications individually to all platforms. OneSignal has proven to be an efficient and hassle free platform for us !
