It helps publishers and online businesses communicate better with their existing readers / customers. Often, we turn a visitor in a buyer and a reader in a frequent reader.
It provides the solutions for messaging and engagement in accurate time.

The best thing of the software oneSignal is it provides the user much fast and reliable push notification service and also it has plugin option so that any user can manage his/her own application according to his/her choice and so can send or receive messages.

The one thing that is pretty disliking that the software is much expensive as if you want to use more features and also the ui and output of software if it could be changed then the performance of messaging can be in good and convient way.

As an design engineer i had to manage certain messages which are important and by using this i can manage easily also if whenever i had to meetup for projects then onesignal is the best use to me, it is error free and helps me much in every condition.

The ease of implementation, the availability of advanced features at no costs such as segmented targeting & filters. The iOS magic provisioning profile tool omg 😍
What do you dislike about the product?
Just need more tutorials specific to some platforms such as Firebase Cloud Functions. There are nodejs tutorials but many BaaS users arent well versed in server side so need tutorials specific to the platform we are using to make integration easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending push notifications, cost effectively (free) with advanced targeting features to aid in user retention. Great for starting out. To grow, there are advanced paid features allowing me to grow with the platform instead of incurring switching costs.

There is a lot of competition Nowadays, and we love to see our return visitors so OneSignal is a way, that remind your visitors to come back to your website, will lots of smart features and AI.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike seeing my competitor getting sad. But Who cares. Still I suggest all of them to turn to new things, everybody look to their's phone for notifications, so let's send them a notification from you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onesignal Solved so many problems, like getting return visitors, and getting suddenly traffic after posting a blog, it knows what time is good to send notifications to visitors and it's benefiting in revenue of my business.

Customer journeys really helped our business grow with automation and allowed us to expand into new segments that we didn't even think were previously available. Amazing service from the account managers and customer support. Highly recommend

Nothing really to be disliked. We were looking for such solution for our growing business and everything worked perfectly as we intended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our focus was mainly on push notifications, but we quickly made a switch with email marketing automation solutions as well.
OneSignal completes the cycle, it's connecting my app users with my server database in an easy way.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way OneSignal defines users by player-id; this saves me many working days.
What do you dislike about the product?
OneSignal still uses legacy APNS certificates. It would be awesome to support keys generated by app store connect. I contacted them two months ago and they responded fast and promised to publish this feature next month, but I couldn't find this option yet.

Easy, reliable, and handles the complexities for us
What do you like best about the product?
Segmentation with One Signal, especially when coupled with tags, is one of the fundamental features I find incredibly helpful. The ability to send notifications based on tags and app versions has helped me in numerous ways as a developer and other people involved in marketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of segmentation is that the number of segments is limited, and so is the number of tags per user. The "tags per user" limitation has made it difficult to develop since I have always had to find clever and messy ways to encode information, ultimately making the code a bit messy and the targeting less flexible. This is in a professional plan, where these limitations are less restrictive than other plans, so I imagine this is even harder in lower tiers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us, OneSignal gives a personality to numbers. On our segment tab, we have a rundown of who each user is and related information about their behavior. This helps us connect with them and offer a curated experience through push notifications and other messages. In-app messages are also really nice. We have had the feature "in-app modal" in our backlog ready to begin implementation, but OneSignal handled this with complete functionality, which was very convenient.
