What do you like best about the product?
Scalable, easily to integrate in any work environment , compatible with all other brands and easily to setup without technical engineers or resources from Dell.
What do you dislike about the product?
HPE also has similar storage products that are competitive in price and durability . Also they have powerful flash storage options that can throw Dell out of the water .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
centric data center platform while simplifying, automating and consolidating workloads, freeing up resources and times for allocation elsewhere in the business.

What do you like best about the product?
We've been a Dell shop for many years and the Flash storage is no exception. We love Dell and look forward to using the device.
What do you dislike about the product?
None so far. We've only used it a short time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a situation where our current infrastructure is out of warranty so we'll be upgrading to using all flash storage this round

Love my Compellent Array

What do you like best about the product?
The arrays were easy to set up and have been very easy to maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything to dislike about them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The all flash array is providing OS and database storage to quick operations in Tier 1 systems. These are much faster than the traditional spinning disk SANS we were using previously. Backups of these systems are markedly quicker than before as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They have been rock solid for performance and support has been great when it was needed. I would highly recommend this product in your environment.

Fast, Efficient, and Good Price.

What do you like best about the product?
It is truly amazing the speed difference between spinning disks and flash. Dell's support is always on point. Dell always answers the phone and are always willing to help. Dell has much less finger pointing than other companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
They do need to revamp their paid training. Dell did cover the steps to create everything in the storage as a sandbox; however, there was never any information on vSphere integration. Of course, in a real enviroment this is where you will spend most of your time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Boot times for servers and desktops are significantly faster. Failed drives are essentially a problem of the past. With Dell's flash the footprint is drastically decreased by the hardware and the deduplication. Power consumption is much lower.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dell is a market leader in the space. You cannot go wrong with their storage, technology, integration, and support. Could not be happier with the purchase.

What do you like best about the product?
The most important thing in any product purchase is the tech support services. This service is essential to continue trusting with that brand, and the Dell after sale service is very good.
Also dell doesn’t license features on their switches, so all the switching and routing features out-of-the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dell N series have some problems at basic functions (L3 routing, stacking,..)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In Hospital clinic of Barcelona, only work with Dell, so I don't have the oportunity to work with other brands, so I can't say that problems will be solved with other brand.

It’s not an “evolution” as they market.

Implementation painfull easy use after that

What do you like best about the product?
Speed! EMC has been dependable in the past. There is a certain "bar" that one expects with EMC and they fill that expectation most of the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The configuration spreadsheet was confusing and I could not paste certain items in the spreadsheet so I had to type them. Seems like they took their spinning media platform and installed flash drives and called it a new product line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need to plan on performance rather just storage amount and redundancy topologies/striping.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend a LOT of time in the planning mode.
