Posthog is a great tool
What do you like best about the product?
Posthog is pretty easy to use, and very easy to implement and integrate. We are currently testing it inside our SaaS software. We are not live yet, but I believe it will be really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of features is a bit jarring the first time, it feels like a really heavy tool, and I just heard it's nice and implemented it from there and I was a bit struck at the first time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posthog is solving the product analytics, to see how users are opening our platform, this is greatly improved by the session replay features

What do you like best about the product?
PostHog replaces a pile of tools and actually speeds up our product loop. We instrumented events in hours, not weeks, and having funnels, retention, and session replay in the same place turns “why?” into clear answers fast. Feature flags and experiments are first-class, so we can ship, test, and roll back safely. The UI is quick, integrations are straightforward, and the docs/community are great. It’s rare to find a platform that product, engineering, and data all love using every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly nitpicks: because it does so much, the first week has a small learning curve and navigation can feel dense until you learn where things live. Naming your events well matters, and a few advanced charts take a bit of trial and error. After that brief ramp-up, everything clicks and the power easily outweighs the initial complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog fixed our identity chaos. It reliably stitches anonymous sessions to known users after identify events and makes it simple to merge duplicate profiles when the same person shows up with different IDs (e.g., email vs. device/app IDs). That gives us clean, unified customer timelines across web and mobile, so funnels, retention, and cohorting are finally accurate. Support and growth benefit from seeing one truth per user (not three duplicates), and product can target flags/experiments at real cohorts instead of fragmented IDs. We spend less time writing manual SQL to dedupe, session replays follow the same person across devices, and our reporting (activation, conversion, churn) is trustworthy and faster to act on.
Great price and easy tool for A/B tests and feature flags
What do you like best about the product?
I like PostHog for the good price model and many tools inside. The interface looks nice and is easy to use. The payment rules are clear and friendly. There is a big free tier so you can check if it works for you before paying.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things are too much connected. For example feature flags are linked with A/B tests. I would like to use them also separate. There is no simple way to have different environments like production staging etc. I need to copy flags between projects and each project is my environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for A/B tests and feature flags. It could replace more tools we use. But some other tools have a bit more options in what they do. We think if to move more things to PostHog and use it in one place for all.
HogQL makes PostHog incredibly powerful for developers
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about PostHog is their HogQL feature - their SQL-like query language for accessing data through the API. This is incredibly powerful and flexible, allowing me to query exactly the data I need for building dashboards in my products. HogQL gives me precise control over data retrieval and makes it easy to integrate PostHog’s analytics into my applications. The API combined with HogQL feels intuitive for developers who are comfortable with SQL, and it’s much more flexible than traditional analytics query builders.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main area for improvement is the ease of use of their analytics page interface. When I first started using PostHog, I found the analytics dashboard to be somewhat confusing and not as intuitive as I expected. The learning curve for navigating and understanding the analytics interface was steeper than I would have liked, especially compared to how straightforward their API and HogQL querying features are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit is that I can easily embed real-time analytics and insights directly into my product dashboards using their HogQL API. Instead of wrestling with multiple analytics tools or building custom data pipelines, PostHog gives me one unified platform where I can track user behavior, run queries, and pull that data into my applications seamlessly. This saves me significant development time and lets me focus on building features rather than analytics infrastructure.

What do you like best about the product?
Posthog has pretty much everything for tracking your customers on your app.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quick start guide was a bit buggy but from there on out everything worked well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted a tool to analyse my customer interactions and find out more about user behaviour.
Basic and amazing
What do you like best about the product?
Session replay functionality is amazing and really professional, it only lacks the ability to sort by devices (users) so i know if someone has returned
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of dark theme can be frustrating but I like the contrast and the dashboard. Sometimes the number of functionalities and settings to change can be overwhelming because there is much.

I can track how users interact with my website and how many distinct users have used it

What do you dislike about the product?
The admin panel can be a bit confusing at first glance. I would love to hide a few of the options. Also, the demo video of posthog was done on the posthog panel itself, that was a bit confusing. Maybe do it on a generic ecommerce store or something of that sorts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It connects all of the different products in a nice way, so you can use the data across services inside PostHog.
Super easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Posthog has very good integration with discord making it super easy to setup a webhook allowing for discord messages to notify me whenever errors occur. Furthermore, the session recordings are really useful
What do you dislike about the product?
I cant view the referrer link for users who havent signed up sometimes it just says person not found.

Knowing the user flow and where they are stopping
