Loving it!
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many things, where to start?
Very generous free tier, easy to view and setup events & insights on the dashboard, the number of features included in the free tier is staggering.
I was shocked that Session Replays and Surveys were also included. These features are fantastic! I also love the design & look and feel of the site.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to find any downsides! Setting it up in my project was very easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me understand, not just traffic to my site, but also how people use my site. It has helped me identify and fix confusing UI decisions (Session Replay) and also collect feedback (Surveys).
Posthog is my go to for analytics now

Posthog is just amazing, it's a base of my workflow, I integrate it with all my projects, it's incredibly easy to get useful insights. Thanks guys!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm always confused what to choose: us or EU when logging in, but I guess that's just the gdpr world.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's providing all the needed analytics and dashboards.

The most useful thing about PostHog is the Web Analytics product. Its great for learning real users usage patterns and weaknesses of my software and iterate.
What do you dislike about the product?
PostHog does no require domain verification (DNS) that would be super useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog solves the analytic for us, requiring minimal setup and straightforward documentation.
Straightforward and useful
What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to setup, using Max the integrated ai I could easily create the insights that are meaning my to measure the traffic on my landing page. I also see that it can integrate in my react native app which make it easy to track the behavior of my users and optimize the user experience

The interface looks a bit old and can seem overwhelming at first sight

User behavior tracking on landing and mobile app, meta ads performance tracking, feature flag management

I dont like the ai, it works and all but dont make it so prominent in the dashboard

First of all, PostHog offers nearly every feature needed to track users and produce analytics. It has a ton of features at no cost.
I was successful in persuading the developers and product managers on my team to use Posthog.
Additionally, it is developer-friendly, which aided my team in incorporating PostHog into four different products. Additionally, they have an AI tool called MaxAI that is incredibly responsive and offers excellent responses in the event that we require assistance with integration or searching.
In any case, I would highly recommend this product to others because it is excellent.

I want them to work on the graph user interface. Despite their best efforts, I believe there is still space for improvement in the overall user interface.

The all-in-one nature of PostHog is fantastic - having product analytics, session replays, feature flags, and A/B testing in one platform saves us from juggling multiple tools. The self-hosted option gives us complete data control, and the open-source community is incredibly supportive. Setup was surprisingly straightforward, and we were getting actionable insights within hours. The ability to create custom dashboards and track specific user journeys has transformed how we make product decisions
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be steep for non-technical team members initially, especially when creating complex queries. Some advanced features require SQL knowledge, which limits accessibility for our marketing team. Documentation, while comprehensive, could use more video tutorials and practical examples. The UI occasionally feels cluttered when dealing with large datasets
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog solved our data fragmentation problem - we previously had analytics spread across 3-4 different tools. Now we have a single source of truth for product metrics. The session recordings have reduced our bug resolution time by 40% since we can see exactly what users experienced. Feature flags have eliminated risky deployments and allowed us to test with confidence. Most importantly, we now make data-driven decisions instead of relying on assumptions, which has improved our feature success rate significantly
