Setting up posthog was super easy, the dashboard is very powerful and easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
First, the pricing being this generous for small businesses is a plus.
The dashboard, is surprisingly intuitive and powerful, switching projects check analytics, setting up feedback campaigns is just a click away.

What do you dislike about the product?
I was confused by exposing the api keys in the application main entry point, I couldn't find significant documentation about the api key scope, because I took some extra measures to secure that information, and therefore I was surprised when I was supposed to add them to the main html file thereafter.
For some reason the feedback widgets in the application keep appearing and disappearing in some browsers, and I could not find a proper way to make them work nor a straight-forward way to debug it.
Lastly, I set up the reverse proxy as documented, but the check didn't respond to the change nor I was able to check it in the quick start guide.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Metrics and feedback primarily.
Good for session replay
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the configurability around labeling session replays and being able to link replays to the same user. Setup using the wizard was very easy and quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be more examples on common use cases and configurations for each framework. The wizard could be used to guide through that too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us understand how users are navigating our app and identifies drop off points.
A Great tool to find watch users you can reproduce the bug.
What do you like best about the product?
Watching replies helped us in our team to reproduce the bugs that clients tell us about and it's the best way to fix the bug.
What do you dislike about the product?
the ui is a bit confusing to use for the first time , personally I don't like too many options on my first glance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our main problem that made us use posthog is that a client will report something like" there is a bug with analytics" but we don't have a stating point to know what's the bug exactly so we used session reply to track users actions before the bug. Now we know how to reproduce it and fix it.
Great as a developer, a bit tricky getting insights in the dashboard.
What do you like best about the product?
From the client side, registering analytics is very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that generating meaningful insights in the dashboard is difficult, especially when attempting to use the custom attributes I attached to my events. While these can be easily done with a SQL filter, this doesn't translate as readily to the insights when creating a graph.
Also, The UI for traversing events is cumbersome and contains a lot of information. By default, I would the expanding an individual product event to only show basic info, rather than all the defaults that Posthog captures.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posthog helps us measure user events, which can be great for tracking retention and anticipating issues.
An All in analytics solution
What do you like best about the product?
All-in-one platform for web analytics, event tracking, session replay, surveys, error monitoring, and more with a generous free tier, and simple pay-as-you-go pricing. Everything you need, all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Noting much, Setting pages are little longer and contains a lot of configuration options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a unified platform for all analytics tools, it eliminates the need to integrate multiple services while saving time, reducing costs, and simplifying daily workflows. It also provides a complete view of user interactions, all in one place.
Excellent alternative to Google Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I love the session replay feature. It lets me see what users are more interested in. And at the same time I can tweak the site to put the CTA in the best possible places. Also good to find errors or users confused by complex UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's got a steep learning curve. Out of the box, you see barely no information about your site: visitors, the search terms they used to get to the site, the page they landed on... Yes, you can create those views probably, but for people coming from GA it looks like a lot of work just to start. And we need to do that on each site. So it'd be good to offer a "starter template". And if it can look like GA a bit, even better. Onboarding would be so much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me measure the interest in my products and services.
Excellent tool and capabilities, very easy to setup
What do you like best about the product?
Amazed by how quick and easy was it to setup using AI and go live.
Very powerful, its as if there is a screen recorder at the clients end.
Has a lot of analytics capabilities that helps to track usage numbers and gather helpful metrics.
Great fit for startups chasing PMF!

What do you dislike about the product?
A little buggy at times, screen recording gets blacked out after a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily for product insights, to learn about user interactions and pain points to iterative over the UX!
It is very helpful, so much that its the one stop solution for us at this point for all analytics.

Easy for small and large projects!
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to get started! Especially on small projects where money is sometimes an issue. The free product allows you to scale without significant upfront cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can’t think of anything right now, this works really well for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Game analytics capabilities through sending event payload data. It allows us to keep track of daily game metrics from our users to see how performant the daily clues are.
Just works out of the box
What do you like best about the product?
I have heard about posthog previously but had not used it. Just added posthog to my last project and its amazing. Its does everything. I’ve almost not opened my google analytics been 2-3 weeks as I just get what I need on posthog and its much easier to navigate.
Planning on integrating posthog for all future products.

What do you dislike about the product?
Has multiple feature which is great but also can be confusing for non technical users and probably a steep learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding user retention and how to optimise my product to ensure smoother user onboarding
Overall Great experience ,some issues.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like session replays and how they are not pushy to upgrade to premium plans, Also I really like the built in documentation sidebar. Setup process is very straightforward as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, slower to load than Google Analytics, and I experienced some significant downtime as well (few hours)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Session replays lets me see where the users are going off and where there spending time in a easier way
