Awesome tool for product analytics
What do you like best about the product?
It is an all-in-one tool that includes everything you actually need. It's very easy to use when you spend some time therer.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI design does not look fresh enough, and also this "all-in-one" approach has a bad side (at first it somewhat challenging to use, as you get lost in a variety of features they have). There are some navigation challenges as well. (as an example) If I were PostHog, I would display all the dashboards in Notion style as pages on click on "Dashboards" in the left toolbar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analytics
Can’t Believe PostHog Is Free — It Does So Much
What do you like best about the product?
I heard their story from being the most expensive analytics tool to the cheapest one, which is just impressive. I still use PostHog Cloud for free, and I don't know if I'll get the opportunity to upgrade because the free tier covers almost everything we need. It is so easy to use, the dashboard is intuitive and the features are really useful for analyzing how my products are being used by my users. I get to know how my users behave with my product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more advanced features have a bit of a learning curve, especially for people who are new to product analytics. And i dont think the documentation is beginner friendly for every aspects. And the integration might take a little more time than others
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me analyze my user behaviors on my product to understand better and act better.

Posthog is product excellence
What do you like best about the product?
Having a one-stop-shop for all product analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
For non tech people, the learning curve is quite high. I've seen newcomers very confused on how to use and explore in Posthog.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily product metrics and testing new products at speed.
First-party analytics FTW
What do you like best about the product?
Posthog enables us to consolidate disparate analytics into a robust, first-party system. It reduces package bloat and more importantly third-party script bloat in a number of places.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, it gives me more work to do. That's not a bad thing since it's well worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Don't have to mess (so much) with GDPR and or CCPA compliance issues. Compliance banners/consents are super simple if required.
Great for session replay on iOS
What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use it for session replay on iOS, and it works really well. The setup was straightforward, and the insights I get are super helpful for debugging and improving user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit resource-heavy at times, and the pricing might not be ideal for smaller apps. Some parts of the documentation could also be clearer, especially for mobile implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog helps me track user behavior and replay sessions on iOS, which makes it much easier to spot UX issues and debug problems. Instead of relying only on logs or guesswork, I can see exactly what users experience, helping me improve my app and fix issues faster.
good insights into my users
What do you like best about the product?
autotracking to easily setup the integration into our next js app
What do you dislike about the product?
It is overwhelming getting started with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
knowing what users are doing and behaving on the app
Amazing power for value
What do you like best about the product?
Session replay for my FlutterFlow mobile apps is a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although relatively intuitive, it's still a bit of a learning curve to get all of the value out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not able to be with my users when they test my app, so session replay is invaluable for understanding their experience.
Highly feature packed service with a wide range of features
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to integrate posthog into the platform and see realtime analytics being captured. The dashboard is quite user friendly and easy to navigate around.
What do you dislike about the product?
The api services could have higher rate limits so we can use analytics of the application for providing better features directly through the backend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to track user journeys and lifecycles using funnels and also able to understand which pages our user is spending most of his time on. We are also able to track points of user drop offs to make sure we can smoothen the experience to help them continue to use the application.
Very pratical and useful

It's hard to understand some concepts and get confusing sometimes with many terms and stuff
