Review Rafael
What do you like best about the product?
Because with Posthog I can watch the actions by my costumers and improve experience of them
What do you dislike about the product?
Dificult in make dashboards, when I need to do new analyses
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Search dificult of my costumers
One stop shop for product analytics, but could use a UI refresh/optimization
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the features and integration is extremely easy, and developer focused
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is clunky and hard to grok given the number of features. For example, it feels= unclear how to use the data warehouse with the rest of the product. Features are buried under menus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Initial product analytics tool
Amazing tool for product analysis
What do you like best about the product?
What convinced me the most about posthog was its simplicity. From day one we knew what we had to do to achieve our goals. As someone who works with many products, it's important to me that I don't waste time on unnecessary reading of documentation. I also appreciate the ease of integration and the ability to tag elements via the visual builder.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel like creating funnels and analyses is too complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a big problem with identifying user problems in the purchasing processes. Thanks to the integration with hubspot and slack we can more quickly identify users who got lost in the purchasing process or abandoned it for some reason.
Dev friendly, lots of cool tools and features
What do you like best about the product?
Easy set up, everything from simple event tracking with autocapture to get you started, to more advanced events implementation, feature flags, A/B testing and surveys. We're pre-seed, so we're finding Posthog super useful for gathering evidence of PMF for our next raise. The pricing is very transparent, and unbelievably cheap for what you get. Great documentation and community.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a whole lot to dislike. Some of the UI takes a while to get used to, as there are so many things packed into one screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us as an early startup to analyze behaviour and move quickly, and gather evidence of our stickiness for PMF and raise.
Great all-in tracking tool for analytics & product management
What do you like best about the product?
I've used a few alternatives including Segment/Amplitude/Optimizely, and it's cool to use something that has events, user profiles, and feature flags all in the same tool and works well for small/medium teams.
After getting through the setup etc it's been breezy with good quality of data and clear instructions on things like setting up a reverse proxy. Excited to see what the tool lets us do with all the data and controls in one place rather than across several other tools!

What do you dislike about the product?
I found a few rakes in the grass as I stepped through the setup documentation - although thankfully the dashboard alerted me to this pretty quickly.
The main example was that in the NextJS docs there are instructions to turn off automatic pageviews which was required for my setup, so I followed that guide and deployed everything. Later, I was alterted that page leave events weren't coming through and in a different set of docs (for Vanilla JS) it mentions that if you turn of auto pageviews you need to turn page leave events back on explicitly. So, no major issues but just a few little wiggles in the docs that could use some more attention.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Knowing how our customers are using the product
- Controlling settings within the product and rollout of features
- Controlling settings within the product and rollout of features
Easy and cheap to get started, will loads of features bundled into one service
What do you like best about the product?
I like that your features scale affordably and you offer tools like surveys and feature flags directly integrated with product and web analytics. I like that you can follow users and groups of users over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any analytics tools, understanding all of the various metrics can be challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My main goal for the project I currently have on PostHog is for basic web analytics. However, my next project will be a much more involved site involving user authentication and frequent feature iterations. The A/B testing, feature flags, and surveys will be very valuable to me.
A Great All in one tool for analytics, with a few areas for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I'm impressed with PostHog's simplicity and ease of use, real-time feedback, and customizable analytics, which have been instrumental in helping me identify areas for improvement and making data-driven decisions to optimize my product, and I also want to give a special shoutout to their exceptional guides and resources that have been incredibly helpful in getting me up and running quickly and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm generally pleased with PostHog, but there are a few areas for improvement.
I wish I could delete groups manually, as this can be difficult when cleaning up data. Additionally, filtering can be a bit confusing at times. I was a bit disappointed that I had to provide a credit card to set up a new environment, even for a test environment, which felt unnecessary.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posthog acts as a replacement of Segment <> Google Analytics / Mixpanel.
We now use Posthog as our one and unique source of truth for analytics (although db is still the king), we track identities, activities and user behaviours across our products

A great substitute for Google Optimize
