Great UX and very easy to setup for in-product analytics

What do you like best about the product?
Makes it very easy to look at key metrics like retention. Very quick to set up and integrate into my existing web application.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit slow and isn't real time. This is especially frustrating for web and testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trends in how users use my product and how effective certain features are.

We are using posthog to release features to our client. we like that we can rollout certain features to our client using feature flags.

What do you like best about the product?
Again, still new to it at this point, but I'm very impressed by all the features. I was looking for a GA4 alternative. Didn't realize I would find that and session replays, a/b testing, etc. in that alternative.

I really like the company attitude and style as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't been using it long enough to hit a real issue. So far it is delivering as promised. But I might have a few complaints 6 months from now as I progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Google analytics has lost its way - both in how they have evolved their product and in the trustworthiness of their stats. I don't want AI sampled insights. And I don't want a data set that has been blocked by 50% or more of users.

What do you like best about the product?
good documentation, easy to setup, many features for power users, billing projections
What do you dislike about the product?
autocapture is only slightly customizable - for example, for the session replay, there is a setting to only capture sessions with minimum length, but it can only go up to 60 seconds. You can't specify 70 seconds or any custom amount.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
how users use the app, where they are experiencing issues, what pages are seeing the most / least traffic

What do you like best about the product?
I love that basically anything we could want to know for marketing is either already available from Hour 0 (heatmaps, clickmaps, rageclicks), or 1 click away (session replay). It's great having session replay and event tracking integrated together, makes drilling down deep into anything super simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish PostHog had a drop-in error tracking/aggregation solution. PostHog is better than Sentry in every single way but I feel like I need to have both if I want the full picture of my apps quality. The web bundle is also kinda big and un-treeshakable but that's not a huge deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
drilling deep into convertion funnels, seo/analytics, affordable session replays. Helps us find where users are getting confused/stuck/dropping off

What do you like best about the product?
The user recordings feature. It lets us see exactly how people interact with our app, which has been incredibly insightful for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the user interface can be a bit overwhelming with all its features. It took us some time to fully understand how to use everything effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog is solving our challenge of understanding user behavior within our SaaS app. The user recordings feature shows us exactly how people interact with our product, revealing usability issues and user journeys we couldn't see before. This is benefiting us by allowing our team to make more informed decisions about product improvements, ultimately leading to a better user experience.

No need to use multiple apps. Easy to capture events. Easy integration.

Nice and easy analytics tool

What do you like best about the product?
The analytics are very easy to use/implement and access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Screen Replays are a really helpful tool in capturing and analyzing user inputs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of implementing an in-house solution from scratch I just had to copy paste like 3 lines of html code to get all the analytics and screen replays working. Saved a lot of time.

Great all in one UX monitoring tool

What do you like best about the product?
The tools give great visibility on how users use the product. Also is a big help debugging problems that have slipped passed tests. Was easy to get started with even our semi obscure tech stack and now have great visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Did not find a great way to tune down the auto-capture events. Does not need all that granularity so it use events for nothing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives great visibility on the good and the bad sides of the UX.
