The all in one platform for our product led growth analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Before PostHog, we were juggling different platforms for session recordings, funnels, surveys, and notifications. Managing and extracting value from scattered information across multiple platforms was challenging. However, with PostHog, everything now operates seamlessly.
Another standout aspect is their support. After a deployment on our end, session recordings suddenly stopped working. Upon opening a ticket, a PostHog engineer promptly created an account on our SaaS platform and swiftly diagnosed the root cause of the issue. They also proposed several solutions to resolve the problem.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints at the moment. We're quite pleased with this platform and look forward to gaining more users to enhance our insights further.

The user onboarding funnel analytics and session recordings are the features we use the most.

Product analytic tools bought us a new way of understanding how our users are interacting with our products.
Open-source product with an astonishingly great experience
What do you like best about the product?
I'm able to get a holistic view of users' behavior, which both helps with marketing and engineering (inspecting session recordings to debug issues). The coverage of the features is surprisingly wide, and it's able to replace at least two other products for us that we'd otherwise have to pay for our of pocket.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard is kind of confusing to look at at first, which creates a bit of a learning curve before you can get used to navigating it. But after a month of two, your entire team should be comfortable performing necessary tasks.

We use Posthog for product analytics (event tracking), session replay, and feature flagging.

Best Analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
The best tool for the analytics I found. So many features available such as Testing, analysis, analytics, log capture and screen record and many more..
What do you dislike about the product?
Offline doesn't able to capture so need to improve on this.

Through the posthog we are tracking easily how many users are using our app and what are the behaviors as well.
Great product with a focus on good developer experience
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed the simplicity of integrating PostHog services into our application. There is ample documentation for multiple languages and frameworks that made things easy to implement. I also appreciated their transparency in their business/pricing strategy, and how it made it easy to communicate the cost to my company's leaders so that I could advocate for adoption of PostHog.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limits on the number of projects currently for the tier plan that we are on. I think if the Feature Flags service had support for more environments out of the box so that we didn't have to use different projects to serve as different environments, that would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feature rollout across environments without having to redeploy code. Improving our CI/CD process through the use of feature flags.
Full control Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
It's a developer-friendly integration (mostly due to the really good docs) and it so easily gives you control over what's happening, meaning you choose every single event that gets tracked. The whole setup maybe takes 10-15min. I also like that it's possible to choose between EU/US servers, even in the free tier. I didn't need the customer support, but the forum is very active and insightful. I use it for all of my projects from now on, because Google is evil.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need a dev to set it up, the dashboards could provide better insights. I'm not a marketer, but a developer, so setting it up is easy, but then getting insights from it is a bit confusing. More dashboard templates with filtered-setups would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog gives me as a dev a super easy to use tool for tracking user behaviour. In contrast to other tools (I used Matomo/GA), it was super easy to set up and understand. The docs are superb, this alone gives me a good feeling.

I haven't seen any advanced rights management. It would be nice to be able to create rights by feature / by dashboard.
