Hard(?) to self host? or no self host options

No need to use multiple apps. Easy to capture events. Easy integration.

Nice and easy analytics tool

What do you like best about the product?
The analytics are very easy to use/implement and access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Screen Replays are a really helpful tool in capturing and analyzing user inputs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of implementing an in-house solution from scratch I just had to copy paste like 3 lines of html code to get all the analytics and screen replays working. Saved a lot of time.

What do you like best about the product?
The tools give great visibility on how users use the product. Also is a big help debugging problems that have slipped passed tests. Was easy to get started with even our semi obscure tech stack and now have great visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Did not find a great way to tune down the auto-capture events. Does not need all that granularity so it use events for nothing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives great visibility on the good and the bad sides of the UX.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing i lke in posthog is the recording feature is better the that clarity.
It is useful for us find he bug and fix.

Nothing like that everything is good, Sometime it fails to pull some data.

It help us in understand the flaw in our workflow. And esay to under the cutomer need.

What do you like best about the product?
The entry level price point of FREE, makes it a no brainer for small teams starting out trying to better understand how their product(s) are being used and how to make decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could involve some more complex setup for things like feature flags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Provides the ability to track down bugs that aren't captured accurately for easier troubleshooting.
- Instrumentation of UI elements to track button clicks, page views, and funnel effectiveness

Replay system its pretty usefull to check user activity.
Web analytics are extensive.
Really pretty ui.
Easy implementation on site.
Good manuals for framework integration.

At the start web analytics didnt work and regional data did not show up at all.

Knowing my user retention rate and the actual sections user go to in my site

As a developer, the data and structure available in PostHog seem intiutive and useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
PostHog is still maturing as a product so not all functionality is available across all features. I'm particularly interested in using more analytics features alongside Data Warehouse features.

What do you like best about the product?
Incredibly easy to use, granularity can be set up as needed, really nice visualisations
What do you dislike about the product?
Can imagine it's not perfect for very high volume/very granular detail
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Didn't have a good analytics system to track website traffic and usage of different features

What do you like best about the product?
- I love the interface
- I love how users are merged
- I love the datawarehouse features and syncing stripe data
What do you dislike about the product?
- Event forwarding to third party tools is lacking (ex. I want to retro-actively forward past events for newly identified users to CustomerIO)
- Native email campaign management (you already have all my events and data). Let me send me user's emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Event collection and product analytics. Feature gating.
