I love PostHog
What do you like best about the product?
The session replays and custom events are awesome. I love being able to see what my users do and where they get stuck. I use PostHog every day, it's super easy to implement. The integration was so easy. Took me minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation is kind of insufficient. I had to dig to really find stuff relevant to NextJS and the Customer Support hub doesn't really have the info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can see exactly where my users get stuck without them having to specifically reach out to me. I see how the website looks on different devices around the world, where they come from, how long they stay etc.

Ability to see how my application is performing seen in real time

What do you like best about the product?
I like that there is a generous free tier on each of the products. It's amazing to be have all that data in the one place and to be able to run experiments with flags and split testing. Having to use multiple separate products for various tests and workflows is a pain and PostHog solves it nicely.

What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be a bit clunky at times, had issues with needing to reauthenticate for session replay and wasn't able to progress with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analytics without using Google analytics, GA4 is way too complex to be useful. Feature flagging without using Launch Darkly. And Session replay it seems like a good alternative to Hotjar.

the fact that is all in one product, we used to use 3 different apps for what we can do now in just one.

It is not as intuitive as logrocket when it comes to session replays

to watch session replays and see problems that the users of my app are having and trouble shoot
Posthog is a great tool that covers a lot of our product management needs
What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive UI. I have barely had to use the documentation so far. Also my cofounder loves the session recordings.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit hard to identify a specific session across different posthog functionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Get detailed qualitative insight into user sessions with session replays
Easy integration for metrics + feature flags
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to integrate feature flags with a product, like we did for ours. We could set up roles and even considered for A/B testing if we want, which makes this an easy feature. Data management is also easy to set up and integrate with the code.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a little buggy for their dashboard - seems sometimes I get my CPU usage pretty high and page blocked for some few seconds, mostly for setting up feature flags conditions. I also miss logs management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed features management in an easy way, that can limit/restrict roles or even single users from particular application features.
Great experience migrating from a much more expensive offering
What do you like best about the product?
Solid functionaly at a very reasonable price. We were also able to consolidate a few tools for session tracking and analytics into 1 tool in the hog.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a ton of downsides that I can see so far.

Loving Posthog so far. The hedgehog extension is fantastic and being able to define actions on the fly is a huge plus.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is the extended effort to leverage backend-inclusion for closed environments - making sales tracking a tad harder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Loving the replays to see where users get caught up.

The analytics and HoqQl query and the way we can give custom color to each graph.

Sometimes the HogQl query can be too complex.
