Incredible usage analytics with almost no effort

What do you like best about the product?
Writing this review is genuinely more effort than setting up Posthog. I'm doing it because I can't stop evangelizing Posthog for usage statistics and analytics. I haven't dug into features past user analytics but will say that getting this set up on a React app, running on AWS, with traffic routed through a reverse proxy took almost no time and has already led to multiple insights from our Product team that are already being built.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point, there are no downsides. Cost could be an issue at scale but as a start-up this hasn't been an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of integration is probably the best thing along with the widespread options (ranging from feature flags to session replay). Also the UI is tastefully designed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's probably nothing I dislike about posthog
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us track user's experience through-out the app while ensuring that we have control over new features that are live in production.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Posthog is how simple it is to get everything set up on the platform. Some other competitors made it difficult to set up for my Webflow website, but not Posthog!
I've been using session replays and tracking my session time grow over time after making little tweaks on my website, and now the average session duration is close to 4 minutes! Super excited about that, check it out at https://www.invisretail.com
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Posthog would make surveys easier to customize. Watching session replays, I've been noticing that the first interaction users do is often close the survey in the corner. If I could implement a delay so it doesn't appear until halfway down the page, (in an easy to do way like how easy it is to set up your other features) that would be ideal and allow me to get further insights about what my customers like, in open response format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog is solving the problem of not being able to understand why visitors on your page aren't converting or requesting to learn more. Noticing bottlenecks or bugs on the website has been a huge benefit I've seen using PostHog

What do you like best about the product?
JS set up was very easy to get analytics across many events, which we can control via autocapture config, and quickly add to dashboards
What do you dislike about the product?
Heatmaps dont filter internal users from results
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to capture and enable anyone to get results of out our data, which we couldn't do using GA4 and other analytics tools. Just turning on posthog gives us a huge range of insights.

Easy setup for lot's of value

What do you like best about the product?
I love the featureset that PostHog combines. We've churned from many other tools we had to use prior. It's easy to use for technical and non-technical stakeholders. We use the feature flags a lot and product analytics. Unlike other tools, it's not overly noisy where we are spending lot's of effort to setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
The buffering on recorded sessions is annoying and sometimes we can't actually view the recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- releasing new features for specific customers. The feature flagging system is great for this.
- helping us understand the level of adoption for new features we create. We use the event emitting and tracking for this.
- Overall ease of use of our product. The rage clicks are a helpful metric for us.

What do you like best about the product?
The combination of features, pricing and onboarding make PostHog a no brainer for companies of all sizes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't gotten to try all of the features yet. On me - not them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The implementation speed to get setup for session reply and analytics was awesome.

What do you like best about the product?
The session replays and custom events are awesome. I love being able to see what my users do and where they get stuck. I use PostHog every day, it's super easy to implement. The integration was so easy. Took me minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation is kind of insufficient. I had to dig to really find stuff relevant to NextJS and the Customer Support hub doesn't really have the info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can see exactly where my users get stuck without them having to specifically reach out to me. I see how the website looks on different devices around the world, where they come from, how long they stay etc.
