Engineer setting up tracking on application for product team.
What do you like best about the product?
I like posthog's dynamic and clear setup instructions. The posthog-js react library is also very dev friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The posthog application has many features and feels a little overwhelming/crowded. I think breaking the UI into more screens with simpler functions on the screen would bring more ease of use to a new user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posthog is allowing us to spin up new features and wrap them with a flag to release when we're confident. But the main benefit is the anaylitics and session replay, we've been able to learn about our application and make adjustments to the UI that helps keep user engagement.

How easy the integration is with an existing project.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything this far that I'm unhappy with. The only thing that I think could use some extra thought would be the user journey of creating a new feature flag or any other service when you don't have any yet. It isn't clear how to get to the dashboard and that you can only access analytics etc once you've fully created a service

Were able to easily create new FF and role them out quickly and turn them on and off easily

As far as I know there's no iOS support yet for session replay

What do you like best about the product?
Its a one stop solution for the user behaviour trackings. There are different features that make it usable over other tools. The pricing is very competitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Surveys are not as much customisable as they need to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm now able to view all the session replays which helps our team in making better product/design decisions. It also helps in debugging the issues with the UX.

How PostHog helped me in obtaining analytics
What do you like best about the product?
User retention metrics that helped me a lot in the analysis of user behavior. Getting replays of the user sessions helps my developers in solving the bugs. It helped me in generating good presentations for investors. Analytics from PostHog helped me in creating user interaction with my app. Great product, already referred two people to use PostHog, and they have also integrated it into their own app.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is little complexity, but creating flow can be made intuitive.

Session replay helper in development encountering bugs and resolving them
A great tool to gain insight to userflow
What do you like best about the product?
We were having trouble understanding how a few select users were having trouble with our app. With Posthog were were able to follow along with what they were doing, and address the overall UX issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The userdashbord is intimidating at first and can take some time to understand how to use all the functionality.

Gaining a better understanding to how users are using our app.

It would be nice to have live session replays like clarity.
I'd like for the docs to be more unified as they seem a little bit scattered (especially around http) as I had to go from the forum then back to the main docs.
