PostHog, the tool that replaces many (and better)
What do you like best about the product?
It's a set of useful tools that replace a lot of half-baked one like GA4. The doc is very cool, and I have implmented it on my Next project in minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far nothing. The product works as intended. The explanations and the UI are flawless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many tools was used before, with half baked Next integrations. Now I have my basic metrics in one click via the default template and I can create ne ones if needed. Session replay is also a valuable tool to improve our product.
Equal parts awesome and overwhelming
What do you like best about the product?
It is a super powerful tool that combines the best parts of Analytics, Sentry and Hotjar. The video recording feature is great for watching users using your site, and the customizable dashboards are great for getting you started with basic analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its powerful features can leave an entry-level user moving over from Analytics, feeling very overwhelmed and slightly let down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A design looks great to _ME_, but do my users find it useful? Being able to rewatch user sessions has been invaluable and highlighting aspects of a design that are actually turning out to be confusing to my users.
The analytics toolset is great for letting me track conversions and monitor the funnels that users are progressing through.

Posthog is amazing
What do you like best about the product?
Posthog is so easy to integrate and start using, there's no friction in the integration, in our company, we introduced in a few minutes the Posthog integration and already started running tests with Feature flags to see what our users like the most.
Also it was pretty easy to filter out internal users, development and local servers from the data and dashboards with a quick exclusion of domains and emails that contain our development site and internal users.

What do you dislike about the product?
When adjusting the dashboards I think posthog takes a bit too long to update the data and show the charts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to easily run tests with feature flags to see what the users like the most and apply changes accordingly. It's pretty easy to split the feature flag distribution in an A/B test.

Pricing, features and feature depth, documentation, low friction interface, easy to integrate
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't used it long enough to find dislikes. The web client bundle is already smaller than sentry and logrocket and I don't know how it's possible to make the bundle very small but if it's possible that'd be amazing

Session replays and product analytics
Very nice tool for product analytics and user session replays.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the product tracking part as an events, and another most used feature is the dashboard creation as per custom need. It's so good.
What do you dislike about the product?
At such, there's nothing that I dislike specifically, but overall I'm happy with the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very helpful for feature flags to be useful for me to release features incrementally and session replays to find the difficulties that my users are facing.
It's nice, and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboards and their flexibility. It's really easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile app session support. It should have ready to use components to calculate i.e. sessions lengths. For now it's just not there yet.

It's giving us an overview on user retensions and critical metrics (KPIS)
Modern all-in-one product analytics platform
What do you like best about the product?
The way PostHog helps us to analyse user activity across the application with proper dashboards, recordings, event management and not to forget the A/B flags is amazing. Moreover, it's easy and no brainer to get started and get tracking results from Day 0.
What do you dislike about the product?
Posthog doesn't make it simple when it comes to search across the platform. For instance name search from users page doesn't work most of the times and is a place to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use PostHog for internal frontend app. It makes it easier to track team members on how they use the app, where we can improve by seeing recordings. Also helps us to test which cohort of internal users are using and when.
Amazing tool to track product metrics
What do you like best about the product?
I like the integration with widely available SDKs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly adblocker blocks the tracking, although we can use reverse proxy to tackle it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to track how my users are using the product, and session replay is so useful for debugging.
Better product insights
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to setup and later in the web you have many built in dashboards that matches most of the common cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need a product understanding and metrics to extract all of its potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking and recording the user visits to understand our users.
Easy to get started
What do you like best about the product?
Quite easy to implement and get started using the product. The client and server SDK's work well.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're using Next.js, then there's unfortunately there's no edge support. The server SDK works if the component is server-only, but if you have a component that's rendered on both the client and server, then the server rendering part won't have posthog enabled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great to have a single product that handles session replays, product analytics and feature management for us. While session replay is browser only (for obvious reasons), the other features also works on the server which is great!
