Best CDP tool out there for developers
What do you like best about the product?
Best parts of posthog is availability of integration with other clickstream platforms. Along with that it provides loads of out of the box features not available with similar platforms including feature flag and session replay, which has greately helped us understand our product usage and build new feature development pipelines efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The issues with poshog is it's initial seup which i found to be very engineering heavy, being an engineer without data platform knowledge i found it difficult to explain the workings to product teams and had to learn setting up the funnel which is available in few other similar tools like mix panel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posthog has helped us understand the products and funnels better so we are able to plan a better user experience for out customers and will be seeing a surge in organic growth hopefully once the features go live and posthog will be our analytics platform while seeing the conversion and growth, and user experience of our new platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Feature Flags is the best part of PostHog that gives you the power of releasing new services and features to selected customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface could have been better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our development team had to develop on/off switches for every feature. PostHog's Feature Flags is a very convenient feature management tool that removes this necessity from development team's shoulders.
Cool but not good enough
What do you like best about the product?
Open source, integrates very easily on the website. I like the recordings and the fact it has features from other services.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am a bit upset about the pricing. I also found it tough as a PM to set events so that I can track things. Heap was on the other hand very very much easier. I didn't have to involve the engineers so often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking active users, funnel usage, location data, session, mobile/desktop, etc.

Feature flags are so helpful to launch new features

Takes a bit of training to navigate around, but nothing insurmountable
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can check when there are errors and quickly fix them for users. We can also put new feature behind feature flags for testing.
Great tool for analysing app metrics, very easy to use, would highly recommend

Posthog is so easy to use, simple set-up and easy to build dashboards for reporting metrics, great navigation as well
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have a lot of data feeding into Posthog trying to find something specific can be difficult, but overall no real issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We did not want to build our own dashboard to access our app metrics, Posthog was a straight out of the box, Set-up very easy and saved us months of work. I used to pull alot of metrics manually, but PostHog has saved us months of work.
Mindblowing Product!
What do you like best about the product?
Using Posthog as an alternative to Google Analytics for performance marketing. Completely in love with how customizable and insightful Posthog is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have a ton of negative feedback. The only downside was ocassional downtime with testing which is understandable given the company is growing.

Performance marketing attribution and optimization
It's been great. Clean, easy and friendly product to use.

I'm a developer and the implementation was pretty straightforward. The dashboard is clean, friendly, and easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there's no way to have different environments. The closest to that is creating projects for each environment, but the navigation between projects is not as easy as I would want because when you have a lot of projects you need to start searching for the one that you need. It would be nice to have a way of grouping projects by some tags or have a favorite section.

Understanding the user's behavior. We also use a lot the feature flags. The ability to create dashboards with important metrics and insights

Limited out-of-the-box integrations with third-party tools.
Advanced analytics features may require additional configuration.
Documentation could be more comprehensive in certain areas.

Magical Product, almost no-code
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of doing everything , combined with suite of autogenerated and ready to use insights are what make posthog the best product for me

Honestly, cant find much, maybe more templates

Error debugging
Very high-quality product for tracking, recording, and feature flags
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to auto-capture the DOM views - and to get the tracking for users that are on our site. It's easy to know MAUs without any DB querying!
What do you dislike about the product?
They recently turned oft the ability to self-host. This is a bit frustrating because we used to be able to directly query the data from their datastore. Now we have to export. It's not a big issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's basically solving everything that we would get from FullStory, but it doesn't suck and it's cheap!
