It's an amazing tool, easy to use and very informative documentation.
What do you like best about the product?
The design and functionalities. Usability is on point.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a very specific comment on the Insights bit. I have built some Funnels, with 12+ events. After saving, I am only able to see 5 events. As to why: I am not sure. I am assuming there is a reason (maybe technical or account-related), but for that reason to be not very obvious is something I struggle with as a user. Hope I can get help around this or at least get pointed to the right direction on how to find the reasons + tips on how to solve. Thanks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A very easy place to configure tracking for a scaling app.
Incredibly useful tracking application with lots of fine-tuning features
What do you like best about the product?
Posthog has been a breeze to integrate into my project and definitely allows me to track very specific actions wherever I want. I also very much enjoy the fact that once that data is on Posthog, it can be cleaned, organized, and tracked accurately. It's session recording feature is also super helpful when debugging and seeing how the user reacts to certain UI/UX changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
One small caveat I have noticed is that whatever recording software is being used by Posthog is not always the best. Sometimes, it displays different pages stacked on top of each other when the user has actually been rerouted to another page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posthog is solving the very arduous task of retracing steps when debugging. It is also solving the issue of having to perform 2-3 times as much work to organize your collected data.
Excellent for product insight
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about this service is the ability to get real feedback on your product - what's working and what's not. It's easy to use and easy to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! Posthog is easy to use and was easy to integrate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us understand where people drop off in the funnel
easy to get data in, hard to get the reports we want
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to setup and start capturing data.
What do you dislike about the product?
All of the out of the box examples appear to be geared at public applications and focus on metrics like user retention, etc. Our app is B2B. We are more interested in usage analytics. Getting the metrics we want has been painful so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None yet.
easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
easy to use and love how it auto fast forwards past a user's inactive time.
What do you dislike about the product?
i don't use it too often so not too familiar with all the capabilities of postohog, but confident over time I'll be using more frequently for our clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
letting us see the real time hiccups in our platform and what the user experiences. also can help us better decide product improvements if needed
A great tool to get insights on you platform usage
What do you like best about the product?
Posthog is a great tool that you can use to get insights on the usage of your platform with multiple tools like:
* easy to integrate
* unique user filtering
* recordings of the sessions
* build funnels
* really good and complex dashboards with insights into your platform.
Overall it is a really powerful tool that can help you get a good vision of how people are using your platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the tool is really powerful it can be scary for new users, or not tech people to build the dashboards or navigate the platform in the first moment, it is something really hard to solve so not sure if there is a lot they could do to change that.
Also sometimes to understand why some reports are not getting to the point that you need can request you a little more effort than you would need.

Get insights on the usage of our platform and help with A/B testing analytics
An efficient and complete open-source tracking tool
What do you like best about the product?
As a product leader, I have to follow-up what is being shipped over the time, to confirm or reprove hypothesis set once launched. With Posthog, I can track down metrics through events and funnels, watch recordings, have a look at heatmaps ...
As well, one of my mission is to empower team and spread the product culture accross the organization, and the ease of use of Posthog help me share and make Posthog use by different teams.
Last but not least, the "Actions" allow you to combine events with OR, that is not always accessible on other tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
Posthog could be sometimes slow in terms of loading data and graphs. As well, CSV export seems to be broken for a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Follow and understand product use in order to 1) compare through time 2) trigger dedicated research when needed
Very sufficient to use
What do you like best about the product?
It integrates seamlessly with all tools, making it easy to identify user issues and collect data. collect data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it has some learning curves. Not that easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When a user faces issues and can't identify the cause, I can investigate with PostHog to determine the reason.
Easy to set-up and configure. Lots of future potential for us
What do you like best about the product?
Very usable... Doesn't have the confused UI/UX of similar tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing scales well with our business model; it wasn't cost-prohibitive to start and works well with the way we are growing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog is helping to answer questions about user behaviour and drop-pff points in our flow
Simplest advanced analytics suite
What do you like best about the product?
PostHog is simplicity elevated to the next level. It's like having a fancy sports car with an easy-to-use GPS. What stands out the most is its intuitive event tracking. I don't need a Ph.D. in data science to understand it. Just tell it what you want to track, and it does the rest.
The retention analysis is another gem. I can instantly see who's sticking around and who's drifting away.
Plus, it's open-source, which is nice.

What do you dislike about the product?
Well, if I have to nitpick, sometimes the documentation can feel occasionally confusing. It'd be great if they could simplify it a bit more.
As of now, the breakdowns can be daily, weekly, monthly, etc. But ifthe natural usage frequency within my product is, say, 2 weeks, unfortunately I can't tell posthog that. Having an ability to use custom duration for breakdowns on charts would be just amazing.

Digital Analytics: PostHog helps me see what's happening on my website or app. It's like looking through a window into the digital world. I can track every click, every page view, and every action users take. This helps me know what's working and what's not.
Product Analytics: PostHog tells me how people are using my product. I can see the paths they take, where they get stuck, and where they drop off.
Session Replay: PostHog lets me watch what users do on my site or app. It's like having a video recording of their visits. This helps me understand their pain points and make improvements to the UX of the app.
