Posthog just get's the work done
What do you like best about the product?
Helps measure all the post API calls instead of tagging each of them manually
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard is not intuitive enough if compared to Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Measuring events on the post API calls as we've a B2B product

Fairly simple to get started and no learning curve it you've previously used other analytics tools like mixpanel. Attractive price point

Haven't summised it enough yet to find any specific negatives

Basic product analytics such as conversion rates and funnel. In the future also looking at session replays

It's very intuitive, free for a very reasonable load, and super easy to navigate and set up. I use it for all my businesses and wouldn't recommend anything else.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe adding in a tutorial would be helpful!

Which part of my funnel is making people fall through the cracks and easily optimizing them.

Self hosting instructions are lacking in requirements (how much storage, how powerful etc)

- Users reporting issues: we can see exactly what the user is referring to
Powerful product analysis platform - for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
I like it best because it's open-source, so also my devs love it. What is more, simple UI is a huge advantage of this tool. Moreover, customization and availability of so many templates, frameworks etc. is appealing. I also like the fact that numerous YT videos with tutorials are available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many clicks to achieve a goal. I'd be keen on using the PostHog AI feature, simply asking me what I would like to get. There should be a special wizard, step-by-step, taking me through a series of actions in a single flow, instead of me understanding the PostHog relations, figuring out how something should be set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog allows me to undserstand what's really happening within my product's ecosystem. I know exactly which feature is used most of the time, what clients are interested in, and on what my dev team should put major focus. PostHog visualizes all business insights in a clear way, that enhances the decision-making process.

What do you like best about the product?
Coming from a data scientist background, I wanted something that just let me get the data without fuss, that dont invent new terms or dumb things down and I do feel PostHog has just the right features.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very focused on websites and can sometimes not respond when you try to add an ARRR dashboard for example. It's minor things. My use case is iOS for game analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps segment users. Check on their behaviors to improve product market fit and also make the funnel work. It has an easy installation and a perfect freenium model.

It is simple to integrate and test. The documentation covers most of the use cases.

Some auto-capture events don't work sometimes

being able to see how customers are navigating our platform/product -- we had no way of knowing before as it was hard to solicit feedback from customers
