What do you like best about the product?
We use posthog for various purposes in our organization , Main things is it helps in capturing the status of each events created in Mobile App through LIVE EVENTS and INSIGHTS.Able to create Dashboards of our choice to monitor the Weekly and monthly user access of the App and monitor the status. Also have the feature of recording the session and replay it . Individual Person and group based validation can also be done for particular features like observing the status of usage of features only BETA USERS.
What do you dislike about the product?
Event doesn't gets updated immediately on click in the APP , sometimes there is delay of an hour and sometimes it is quick. So makes the developers confused whether the events are created correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Differents metrics can be tracked with same tool , mobile app , dashboards their error logs ,events everything can be captured on daily basis. Can group it for weeks , months and years check the usage status. If there is sudden drop in usage it indicates the error in that feature , which helps in debugging and resolving the issue faster

wonderful at organising analytics for our app

What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to create dashboards and views and filters for viewing our user data. It's so easy we were able to upskill several members of the team to look at the data themselves.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is a bit high but otherwise we are happy with the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Looking at user behaviour across cohorts.

Clunky, but effective analytics

What do you like best about the product?
Toolbar is credibly intuitive to add an action and the html selection criteria are easy to adjust.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboards are hard to create and filtering traffic on a site wide basis (i.e. filtering out our automated traffic) don't seem to be supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When releasing a large product, we want to ensure it is being adopted into the general workflow.
Secondly, we want to find bugs before users report them.

What do you like best about the product?
How simple it is to integrate and get started, yet the incredible features you get to start using out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found anything to dislike. I really like it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me understand more about my users, test and debug my app. Especially for an early stage start-up, it's really usefuy.

Nifty tool that covers many use cases

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Posthog. Super powerful tool, especially for the LOE required to stand it up.

I've used it to set up in product (SaaS) and onsite experimentation, instrument funnels and flows, run web analytics, collect user data, and capture event and behavioral data. It's pretty simple to get started, straightforward to get rolling, complex to bend the system to your will.

They have a generous free tier and pretty reasonable pricing structure on top of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's made for a variety of things, but pretty difficult to add to or modify those things at will. I'd like more flexibility and customization. Also, pushing the data to a warehouse in JSON format really sucks and creates a ton of work to ingest and clean properly - at least for me. Maybe others are more apt to parse JSON in transit or tranform once in the warehouse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The same ones they say they're solving. The ones they solve for me are called out in what I like about the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
User records are gucci.
Live events do update instantly.
There are pretty nice auto graphs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some filters are missing, I don't wanna write DogQL, I want to have more filtres available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I see how user use my product.
I can see churn and retention.

A quiver of tools for every product team

What do you like best about the product?
Posthog provides so many useful tools for measuring and testing features and user acquisition behavior - it would have taken ages to build half of what is provided out of the box!
What do you dislike about the product?
The sheer volume of features available in PostHog can be overwhelming, sometimes making it feel like I'm not using everything as well as I could be. Thankfully their support team is super helpful, and documentation is available for everything they make.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Session replay lets us see where user journeys get confusing or intimidating, and A/B testing lets us experiment with changes to see what will land well with our customers. We use analytics all over the place to track growth, which helps us measure and track our targets.

New to posthog, but really like it so far.

What do you like best about the product?
It's detailed analytics system that's powerful and not as difficult or complex as it initially seemed like it might have been. It will show more insights than other tools like plausible would, and the session recording will be very useful for client projectsl
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of youtube videos is probably my biggest critique. I think explaining how to capture custom events with JavaScript would be useful. Also setting up a proxy for the tracking script would be useful to see done through cloudflare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It will hopefully allow me to add A/B testing to the list of services that my Webflow development studio offers to clients, allowing us to not only create a good design but deliver on the analytics / data front as well.

Powerfull tool for products

What do you like best about the product?
There are many different types of events to work with. We can create reports with this data easily
It's simple to send custom events and create funnels. The user interface is friendly

It has all data that I need to know how customer experience is!
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss a visual editor (like google optimize) for ab tests and experiments. Some platforms (like hubspot and webflow) are easier to apply ab tests using visual editor
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a small business and Posthog plan help us to start our site with funnels , A/B tests and to know how customer are interacting with our site
