What do you like best about the product?
Posthog does a great job of providing users with a simple-to-use platform with a wide range of functions to ensure analytics and trends are tracked effectively and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may look intimidating to begin with, but once the user learns, it becomes easy.

Posthog helps us understand our customer use cases and problems that arise during their experience.

posthog is a powerful tool for adding tracking to our pages so that we can track user interactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires us to repeatedly set the same actions across different pages. We are unable to automate these things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
posthog allows us to track data autonomously so that we don't have to spend resources trying to interview stakeholders for feedback.

What do you like best about the product?
PostHog is really a great tool to use for being able to analyze customer interactions with our new releases on our platform and track insights about customer behaviour patterns and workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
PostHog is not intuitive to use for the first time, especially for people not in R&D and therefore takes time to set up, and we have to create internal documentation for this purpose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog allows us to automate some tasks, like taking user feedback and understanding user behaviors and patterns. We can add actions to track how users interact with our platform and pages and use that information for our future work planning.

Very easy to set up, feature-rich and generous free tier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having only used posthog for 5 days, I have no complaints yet. Recording of canvas elements would be a much welcomed feature as described here. https://github.com/PostHog/posthog/issues/2798

Good Analytics Platform for Technical Users
What do you like best about the product?
Provides very rich data, including conversions, sources, and other essentials for the marketing side. It also provides a lot of flexibility to create your dashboards and track individual KPIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
From a marketing perspective, it isn't as intuitive as other tools on the market. It would be nice if there were some pre-set dashboards (or templates) available that could help speed up implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog allows us to gain comprehensive website analytics for our various web properties while also helping us remain GDPR compliant (with all data being hosted in the EU).
Really Good Tool !! Helps me alot for analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Posthog tool is its structure which allows me to create insights on demand, whether it's funnel, retention or any user paths/trends. The simplicity of displaying results in graphs & tables provides me with every detail I need. The recording feature helps us a lot in analysing and monitoring users' journeys and tracking some errors/bugs faced by our users. The support from the team in case of any questions is top-notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
As to say, I would like to have control over the auto events being captured since I do get billed for events. Having control over it can help me when my billing limit is reached. Also, sometimes I have faced some recordings delay of up to 5 mins or so; it may be for that particular day, but it frequently happened to me after that. Also would like if some reminder emails are being sent when I am about to exceed billing limits or even when the free tier is crossed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped a lot in analysing my product. Starting from understanding my traffic source to viewing the user journey through recording. It has helped us understand our users and to make better User interface decisions.

Ease of implementation, intuitive user interface, A+ customer support

Session recording becomes expensive really quickly
