Fewer Emails = Happier

What do you like best about the product?
Security! Implementing Abnormal has saved our team hours on reviewing emails that could potentially be harmful. Having Abnormal filter these out helps us sleep at night.
What do you dislike about the product?
Someone asked me a similar question recently. The only thing I could think of was the name of the company, "Abnormal". There is nothing about the crew that is "abnormal". Great company, great people, nothing Abnormal!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Abnormal Security for our emails. We have our emails sent to Abnormal for review. They then submit tickets for us to review specific emails. It has saved used loads of time.

Automated our Security Posture

What do you like best about the product?
Abnormal has completely automated our security posture with the addition of the abuse-mailbox feature addon combined with the core product. The entire lifecycle of a phish campaign/message is handled with Abnormal. I now spend little time managing phish threats because abnormal does it all!
It's like the old Ronco commercials "Set it and Forget it!"
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had more control over being able to manually move messages around mailboxes that are not necessarily threats. Other native solutions build into O365 are not as intuitive and take more time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We deal heavily with the supply chain, and many vendors and suppliers are not using DMARC. Abnormal has reduced the attack vector to our organization from other companies because they refuse to implement more security policies.

What do you like best about the product?
In the first month it found and blocked an attack that otherwise very likely would have been successful.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is not really a complaint, but it would be wonderful if there could be some way to build a workflow around end users spotting and reporting our phishing simulations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our email security is significantly better now. Thank you is really all I can say.

Great product with low barrier to entry.

What do you like best about the product?
Efficacy of solution, paired with low barrier to entry make this a great product for any team that is challenged with doing more with less personell. This product makes it easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I forget to check on things because I am not hearing from the business users anymore about the threats they are receiving. There are few false positives but you do have to stay on top of checking for them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business email compromise was the most prevalent problem for us to solve with the tool. Phishing was the second most important problem for us to solve. after that spam.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that Abnormal has given us our weekends back is amazing. We spent so much time dealing with email attacks and phishing/junk/spam emails to all of our users, specifically our high profiles users.

We really haven't found too many things that we don't like.

Using Abnormal Security to Automate Responding to Suspicious Email Reports

What do you like best about the product?
The system requires little configuration and management giving us more time to focus on other items.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing we dislike about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has added a 3rd layer to our email defenses that has shutdown the display name spoofing that was plaguing our school district.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease iof use of the platform and the detail received when reviewing threats. The emails sent notifying us a potentail maliciopus email has been resolved are a game changer
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish search and respond portion was a little faster
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are bombarded by lots of attacks and this platform allows us to at least cut back on the user seeing and clicking on malicious links. We are solving the people problem when it comes to malicious emails. Removing them before the user has a chance to click

What do you like best about the product?
Abnormal is a handy tool and is very intuitive. A variety of tools and options can be used within Abnormal, which are very helpful from a company viewpoint. Such as having Automated deletion rules to reduce the number of spam and malicious targeted emails within the company as they delete the emails as soon as possible. If there are any mistakes, then you can manually submit these with the Detection 360, which will then be used to help adjust the machine learning for the tool to make fewer mistakes in the future.
Having the emails checked and deleted automatically where necessary frees up a lot of time to be used elsewhere, which is very important in any company.
One of the best tools I have encountered within Abnormal is their Search and Respond option. It is a high-speed tool that allows you to search for emails, which is very useful as it will enable you to view emails involved in incidents promptly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike about this tool. The only option I would recommend being added would help when manually identifying whether an email is Spam/malicious. This would be to include a translation option within the search and respond. I understand that there are third-party options for this, but having this integrated would allow users to understand emails in a different language quickly and in a timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having an automated way to categorise and delete possible Spam and Malicious emails is very useful. It benefits the team by allowing us to allocate our time to other important issues. As a small cybersecurity team, we don't have the human resources to dedicate ourselves solely to remediating mail threats that need to be remediated. Having Abnormal implemented with our security is very helpful in this case.

While i don't have reasons to dislike anything of Abnormal website. I'm using the Challenges, the articals, researches, know some people who think like me, and i am enjoyng.

Abnormal: a security product like no other

What do you like best about the product?
Abnormal Security's use of ML to automatically detect and remediate spam, phishing, and other malicious email threats significantly reduces my team's time responding to email-based threats. Before implementing Abnormal Security in our M365 environment, my team would spend several hours each morning manually responding to email threats. Now, Abnormal gives us this time back to focus on other incidents.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint is that Abnormal Security is a relatively newer organization, and at times their product sees updates well before their knowledge base writers can document these changes. This can be a little frustrating when looking for a feature or setting only to reference documents that are as up-to-date as the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Abnormal Security is solving the problem of responding to and manually remediating malicious email-based threats. As a small cybersecurity team for a massive organization, we don't have the time or manpower to constantly devote to remediating mail threats that need to be removed form user inboxes before they can inflict further harm.
