Take the Stress out of Managing your Threat Exposure
What do you like best about the product?
The timeliness of the support team in responding to threats identified in the environment and the summary of actions taken or to be carried out to mitigate perceived and identified threats. The simplicity of the deployment and the range of features within the platform that easily customisable to most business use cases that I could throw at it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application whitelisting and application control is there but is cumbersome and can be complicated and difficult to deploy, once it is deployed it also requires a fair bit of admin to maintain unless you want a lot of support requested when new applications are deployed or updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small IT Team that takes IT Security very seriously but operating in a lean manner means that we dont have the manpower or resource available in the team to be as proactive with threat response as we would like and certainly no time available or skill set in house to be able to carry out the forensics sometimes needed when something malicious does get on your network. Sophos solves that for us by providing access to a specialised company set up and skilled in how to deal with cyber security issues 24*7*365 which we can only dream of for the cost point.

Do yourself a favour and subscribe to MTR, I genuinely cant recommend it highly enough.

It notifies us when there is a threat from with the organization. it notfies us about sever patches that need to be applied

When it comes to unistalltion of the software. we are required to use a tamper code

What do you like best about the product?
The Sophos MTR Solution is a self-capable solution that proactively hunts for the threats and identifies any malicious attack that can disrupt our daily operations also a single dashboard helps monitor the activities happening across the IT Infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to hear from them on how well can it integrates with the non-Sophos solutions deployed in the environment, also on the pricing part it's costly compared to other vendors in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were being attacked frequently and had trouble finding the source of threat with MTR into the picture we not only receive the threat notification but also containment and remediation take place simultaneously.

We have been very happy with the MTR service so far.

As a relatively small IT team it allows us to maintain 24/7 monitoring without the additional resource. Equally, as Sophos are experts we know that any new threats will be identified without a learning curve on our side.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of deployment and peace of mind with the 24/7 monitoring services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sophos Team could have been more proactive in providing recommendations to improve the overall security posture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring no hidden threats in my environment. IT folks can better focus on their other job functions.

Sophos MTR - working for you, even when you are not!
What do you like best about the product?
They are always monitoring our environment for threats, even when we are not. Very helpful in getting configuration correct for our environment. Great reporting and follow up communication to ensure we are always getting the best result from the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue we have faced is during the migration of our service from one data centre in the US to one located in Australia. It was not seamless and there were times in the changeover where we could not easily find our data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We cannot be monitoring our servers and ready to take action on threats 24x7, so Sophos are, and will take action when we are not available if our servers are at risk. Great communication channels so that we have confidence that any issue will be well handled.
I can recommend moving to Sophos MTR.
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos MTR is very easy to deploy and provides Monitoring and reporting in a clear and intuitive portal. We were able to roll out to 600 devices in less than a week.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support can get overwhelmed at times and it can take a little while to get a response to low priority support tickets. All high priority are treated with the importance they require.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos MTR gives us visibility on what is happening on our devices and allows us to set up a trusted device that we know to be secure. The support team are watching for issues 24x7

What do you like best about the product?
Sophos Managed Threat Response provides companies ease of stress, we feel that peace of mind is the most important aspect of this solution and I rate it 5 stars.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is little to dislike about a professional team protecting your systems. They ensure that even when you sleep, your systems are still operational and protected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos Managed Threat Response ensures that we are compliant with the Australian Signals Directorate Essential 8 and our business protects all Intellectual Property and Client Data
