Overall Outreach has really helped our SDR team handle all incoming leads from various sources

  • September 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The way it takes the thinking out of the SDRs day about who to reach out to next and all the analytics it provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lag between getting from salesforce into outreach as well as the texting capability. It would be cool if there was an app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabled us to reach out to 1000s of MQLs from all different sources with customized messaging and touch patterns

2nd time using Outreach, they're the best in the biz

  • September 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
They know what their strengths are (a true sales engagement platform helps automate and organize a sales professional's workflow) and they stick to that (they don't mess around with other bells and whistles that take them away from their main things) - and that's why they're the best at what they do. The user interface is pretty easy to use and intuitive, and they always seem to be innovating.
Another thing I can appreciate about Outreach is the fact that they have thought leaders and subject matter experts that are always sharing knowledge for free. It's super helpful and really sets them apart as leaders in the space.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really the one gripe that I've always had with Outreach (this is the second organization I've used them with) is pretty nit-picky: when building out or editing sequences, you can't drag and drop steps in a sequence. For example, if you built a sequence and realize that you want to add an extra email in the middle of it after using it a few times, you can't just add that step in there. You have to create the step as if it was at the end of the sequence, then manually bump it up one step at a time. It's a tiny little thing, but it is a clunky process.
Oh also: not sure why but you can't add variables directly into a subject line when building out an email template- if you want to do that then you have add it in the body of the message and then copy and paste it into the subject line.
Other than those two small things, it's hard to find anything to mention here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach allows us to not just automate and organize our day-to-day workflow as a business development team, but it also creates a central database for all of our sales engagement processes and copy. It makes knowledge sharing easy, and it backs it up with data and analytics. We love that we're able to test out different variables in an automated fashion and see what the rest of the team is doing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When we were evaluating Outreach, the only other platform that we found comparable was Salesloft. Salesloft was good (very similar), but ultimately what sold us on Outreach was the fact that they are solely dedicated to being a sales engagement platform, and they seemed to be the best in class at it. Salesloft had a few other cool features that made it tempting (including a new call recording functionality), but that wasn't quite what we were going for. So I would take a look at them as well, but whatever you don't try to use Salesforce in place of something like Outreach (Salesforce = CRM/sales database, Outreach = Sales Engagement Platform).

Outreach has improved the lives of our sales team members

  • September 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The automation. We are primarily an inbound business. So, Outreach makes is easy to stay on top of leads and not let any fall through the cracks
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how easy it is for our team members to mess up sequences by skipping or deleting steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we are solving is ensuring we are following up with leads over time and getting the appropriate amount of touches over a longer period of time. Our response rate has increased and we have higher conversion rates as a result,

What do you like best about the product?
Sequences are incredible. Their ability to sense when a meeting is scheduled or a reply is super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the ability to make calls was better but it disconnects frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it as a means of reaching decision makers among active clients to schedule business reviews.

Outreach is a must have for sales teams!

  • September 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The sequences help our sales team be successful and time efficient!
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of differentiation between leads and contacts in the system - having them all be under "prospects" is slightly annoying
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easier for our new hires to ramp up quickly with sequences they can clone and personalize for their business.

My team can not live, work, succeed without the Outreach

  • September 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is the nucleus to our 'sales tools' universe. Even though we are all remote, it allows us to collaborate on best messaging (templates and snippets) it also has 5X'd our outbound prospecting success. The UI is super intuitive and the in-app chat is a life saver. Hands down, the best customer service in the game ;)
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish more companies had integrations into Outreach, like Allego and Recapped.io (get with it guys!!)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach helps with both top of funnel (prospecting) and bottom of funnel activity - consistent messaging during sales process (and after).. we have a welcome/transition sequence that ensures no communications hit the floor between closed-won and implementation. Outreach then allows us to see what works (and what doesn't) so that we can continously refine our messaging... let the data tell the story!

Outreach's help with growing sales

  • September 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It takes the thinking out of managing a pipeline, lots of integration, and data to review. It sets your day up for you so you can focus more on selling.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integrations can be tricky - not blaming them for it as it could be our CRM. More hands-on onboarding would be helpful without having to pay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation, track what emails perform well, provide structure to the sales team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Scope out CRM and integrations first to ensure they properly work.

Insights & Integrations made easy

  • September 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The insights provided by Outreach for prospects are fantastic. The ability to track both engagement and outreach frequency to a prospect enables me to alter sequences and cadence steps to optimize the campaign. The Outreach 360 functionality is very impressive, along with real-time engagement updates.
The platform integrates with many other platforms, making it easy to link in with CRM and Prospecting applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach's automation capabilities are a huge time saver, but if there are edits to be made, then this does take manual effort. I would suggest ensuring data integrity processes are at a high standard before designing workflows.
Tracking outbound call making is time consuming. Each step requires a number of fields to be filled - not ideal for large campaigns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach has enabled us to segment prospects for various campaigns using the "triggers" functionality and design cadence steps accordingly. The ability to manage large volumes of prospects across multiple campaigns at ease, has ensured optimal efficiency.
The ability to send automated emails en masse also allows for prospect engagement even during times of extended PTO.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to leverage as much of the functionality within Outreach as possible. Spend time in planning and managing the data quality before using Outreach. Look at the integrations available with Outreach and decide which ones work best for your business.

Reduces Workload while increasing productivity

  • September 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I particularly like the Chrome extension, which allows for the quick transfer of prospects and that from SalesForce to Outreach, and from the likes of Zoom Info. Tracking opens rates and clicks is also really beneficial to allow me to focus my time on prospects that have interacted with content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to archive sequences that are disabled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time, I have more time to get on with activities instead of composing and copy/paste emails to prospects. This allows me to focus my time on prospects that engage rather than everyone. The integrations with LinkedIn and tasks within OutReach make life a lot easier also.
